This Little champ has swag for days! ✌️ Can someone please tell me How Kaiden is 5 Months Old?
Seriously how can my baby boy nearly be half a year old already?? 😢
Time can really slow down please.
You are such a cheeky little monkey, who is always smiling even though teething is giving you some grief. You have one tooth which has already made it’s way through & many more just waiting to pop.
You LOVE food!! Your current favourites are: * Mashed banana 🍌 * Pumpkin & corn 🌽 🎃 * Sweet potato, carrot & spinach 🥕 🍠
You Can’t get enough - you can’t even wait for the next spoonful to come your way haha 😂
Wherever your big sister & older brothers are is where you want to be - you are always looking in their direction giving them big smiles wanting to be able to play & hang out with the big kids ( This will be happening before we know it! )
These past 5 months have been amazing! Watching you learn new things everyday. Watching your sister be such a caring, loving, kind big sister, watching your big brothers become more involved with you, watching the way you look at your daddy melts my heart 💜
Kaiden Thank you for filling our hearts & our home with so much love buddy.
HAPPY 5 MONTHS 😘💚 #happy5months#5monthsold#monthlyphoto#infantsofinstagram#babyboy#happy#cutenessoverload#lovehim#love#unconditionallove#baby#son#mumlife#swag#littlechamp#timecanslowdown#lifeisbeautiful#swagfordays#learningnewthings#growingup
This is the big reason I think the Bible is an invaluable resource in language learning. There’s so many translations even in minority languages and it’s a big help with vocabulary and sentence structures. It’s free! And sometimes you can find audio in your target language! 📖 🎶 Credit: @polyglotism_
It’s time for the next Ashley Talks Supercut!😃It’s live now! This episode is about extremely exciting topic of Masterminds. 🤓No, I'm not talking about a board game or an evil movie villain. A Mastermind group is a group of people who offer each other a combination of education, peer learning, brainstorming and accountability all in one. Sounds awesome? ✨If you're looking for new ways to boost your professional growth, this episode is definitely for you.💪😃
Check out my story to watch to the full episode.
Last week I cooked up a storm at Waitrose Cookery School in Finchley Road. Ok, not a storm exactly but a Persian Feast! This was the starter of spiced sea bream with kuku sabzi, salad and spiced yogurt. Sooooo delicious! Read all about the class on my blog - link in bio. #waitrosecookeryschool#gifted
Double tap if you know that look 😉
I have never liked being in front of the camera as I always find something wrong with whatever picture is taken 😒 .
But I refuse to let that stop me anymore 😬 It is still so uncomfortable for me to have my picture taken, but with practice I hope it becomes more comfortable 🤞
I am slowly learning to embrace who I am while bettering myself at the same time. With change comes progress! Who else is trying something new?? Let me know below👇 📷 @aquanaut92
First day of American Sign Language class! Today was my first experience with ASL Poetry. Holy smokes! It is an art form of great beauty and passion! I have so much to learn as I embrace a new language and culture. #grateful ❤️ I suck at ASL, but I’m willing to practice. Please have patience with me.🙂 Oh, I am looking for the name of the graphic artist in order to give proper credit.
Learning to say no to things that made me feel bad about myself didn’t come easy. I hated working in corporate America and yet every time I was offered a promotion or more money, I would take it. I spent nine years of my life that way. It took a lot of things to find the courage to finally start backing away, and one of them was a simple daily reminder to myself that I didn’t have to engage in something if it made me feel bad. I know that in the beginning, we might have to keep doing things we don’t enjoy until we’ve figured out how to make the switch. But we don’t need to get caught up in that. We can begin to relax our attachment to it, to stop saying yes to shit we hate and making space for the things that are meaningful, things we love. And little by little, the scale will begin to tip.
Life is hard! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I can't be the only one who feels the constant struggle to keep up with life. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Between my full time job...that is draining my soul. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
To my photography business that is letting in so much light and hope into my life. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
To keeping up with the kids. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The beginning of school⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Staying fit.....or more accurately the constant struggle to even get close to starting to work towards being fit. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Making plans and goals with yourself and not making it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Constant let downs⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Loss of faith in others. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We all struggle. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We all have an internal struggle. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A constant battle. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A constant battle within ourselves. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A battle of what to spend your time on. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Life is hard. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But friend, these experiences and struggles. All of the day to day things in your life. The goals your have yet to reach, the things you have yet to start. The constant business that is our lives....in the end, that is what makes our life so awesome. Experiences. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I'm trying to value my constant struggle a little more. Trying to not sell myself short. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Taking the step is hard. But oh so worth it!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I have worked in bridal stores and regular alterations shops. I have always felt like the techniques I learned to stop neckedge gaping were subpar. They worked...kinda. I just felt like there was something more out there. More haute couture. Ya know? So of course I turned to Google. 🤣 I sorted through page after page of how to use double sided tape to fix gaping. I am pretty sure my bride expects something classier than me handing her a roll of double sided tape and saying good luck. Just maybe. 🤣 Buried in the expanses of Google was this amazing blog. MrsC has a blog titled "Sent from my iRon". On this blog she attacks the technique of "taping". Spoiler alert: no double sided tape is anywhere in sight. THIS is what I have been looking for, my friends!! I used ribbon instead of cotton tape but the technique works!! (I have no idea who MrsC is or what "Sent from my iRon" means but THANK YOU!! This technique is amazing!!) #seamstresslife#learningnewthings#teacherbecomesthestudent#thankyou#taping#weddingdress#weddingalterations#alterations#handsewing#handsewingtechniques#seamstressforhire#lasvegas#lasvegasseamstress#seamstressforhire
This felt like a fitting quote to use as the first post on this account. I wrote it down in my journal back in 2016. At that time I was stuck in a tedious job full of capitalist a-holes that brought be daily misery. I’d had the sense ever since I was in college that I wanted to change my career but I never knew what it was that I wanted to do. I’m still not exactly sure but I am proud of how much progress I’ve made since then. I post this as a reminder that it’s okay not to know what you want. But if the place you’re in right now is hurting you, start there. Start backing away, and be okay with not having the path laid out ahead of you. It might not feel like it, but slowly backing away from hell is the very first step on a long, rewarding, painful, messy journey that is absolutely necessary. It took me years to take that first step. And I’m so glad I finally did.
