I’ve always been one to struggle with being positive and looking at the bright side of life. Some days, the negative experiences and constant downfalls in life really get me down. However, I’m trying really hard lately to be more positive. I take time every night for meditation, yoga and writing down 3 things I’m grateful for. I get up every morning, drink my cup of water, ACV, and lemon juice, and meditate.
In one week, two people hit my car then did a runner. I’m struggling with never seeing my partner due to clashing schedules. I’m am severely missing my family. But, good things are happening too.
• I’ve almost completed the second to last week of Cert 4 in Fitness. ✨
• I start working at @goodlifehc Crossroads in 17 days.
• I complete the first day of induction tomorrow.
Good things happen, but sometimes the bad things cast shadows over them. Don’t let the bad things do that. Take control and find the positives.

Let me know below at least one good thing that has happened to you lately! 🙌🏻
Apologies for the terrible lighting.
Every night before bed, I write down 3 things that I am grateful for. It helps me stay present and to practice gratitude.
Today I am grateful for my body. I feel tight. I feel sore. I feel exhausted. I can’t hold my favourite poses as well as I normally can but the best thing about yoga is that it’s not about the destination at all. It’s all about the journey. It’s about moving with the breath, flowing, both relaxing and challenging the body, and simply BEING. I love yoga for the way it makes me feel challenged, yet empowered. I love my body for constantly allowing me to push it past my perceived limits of it. After struggling with tightness is my chest, my diaphragm compensating for all of my abdominal muscles, and a shoulder injury, I am building my strength and endurance back on up. 💪🏻🙌🏻
My body is amazing. My mind is amazing. It is strong, yet it is weak. It is loving, yet it is angry. It is tired, yet it is determined.
“The body can do anything. It is the mind which holds the body back.” 🌸
Repost from @papaya_sunshine @TopRankRepost #TopRankRepost My biggest addictions in life have always been chocolate, nut butter and oats. So when I put all three into this masterpiece aka my raw chocolate and almond butter cheesecake with an oat and nutty base I’d call it a win 🙌🏻 Did I mention it’s topped with delicious dark chocolate truffle balls??😳
What’s your food addiction?..🤔
170g old fashioned gluten free oats
100g natural blanched almonds
1 cup of soft pitted medjool dates
1/4 cup of melted coconut oil
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla bean paste
Add all the crust ingredients except the dates and coconut oil into the food processor and pulse until you have a fine meal. Then add the dates and pulse until a sticky mixture form in the bowl. You want to keep the dates chunky rather than a smooth paste. Press the mixture into the baking tin so it’s even at the sides. Place in the freezer to firm up while you prepare the filling.
Chocolate almond butter Filling
2 1/2 cups of raw soaked cashew nuts ( soak at least 3 hours beforehand )
3 tbs smooth natural almond butter
2/3 cup coconut oil
2/3 cup raw cacao powder
2/3 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup coconut milk ( canned variety )
1 tbs vanilla bean paste
Add the cashews, maple syrup, vanilla and coconut milk to the food processor and pulse until completely smooth like velvet. Be sure to scrape any mixture down from the sides. Then add the rest of the filling ingredients and pulse until smooth and creamy. Pour mixture on top of the prepared crust and freeze until solid for at least two hours. Once you are ready to serve your cheesecake put in the fridge 30-60 mins before hand to thaw and then keep what’s left refrigerated for up to 3 days.
Recipe for the truffle balls can be found further down my page 👇🏼💛
Shoulder pump and im not even close to lean yet! Cant wait to see that shreded shoulder again. Still at 63 kg will put in more cardio and see what happen.
Seriously! Try out this seated side lateral raise! Limited momentum and swing force you to use more of your muscle. Try to go slow on both up and down. Make sure you feel the burn on that lateral head of your shoulder!

“It’s been said that the greatest disease affecting humanity is that feeling of, “I am not enough.” The feeling of ‘I am not enough’ can only exist by comparing yourself to another, and living your life by expectations that AREN’T YOUR OWN. Comparison is the thief of joy. If you wanna use a great person to measure yourself in life and where you can be, sure, there’s not a lot wrong with that. But, don’t be attached to the result. The only result you should be attached to is the result of you being better than you were yesterday, last week, last month, one year ago. Set your own goals based on what YOU want to achieve. Everyone is different, and everyone can win. You will never win if you have your eyes on another person. You win your race by focusing on your own finish line.”
