What’s better than a plain old “submit” button? A benefit-based call to action button text. 🙈 What’s even better? These two words:
After thorough A/B testing, Anne Murphy of Kapost (ref: https://blog.optimizely.com/2014/07/07/the-secret-weapon-to-superior-calls-to-action/) stated 66% of their top performing calls to action have the word “get” in them. Specifically 10 out of 15.
And the word “your” was in nine of them.
Out of all call to action combinations they tried, “Get Your” was the winning phrase by far.
