👨👩👧👦 LFC Families ✨
If you're a family with kids from newborn to 18, we invite you to join us for our Fall Family Get Together this Sunday, October 21, immediately after 2nd service. Come grab a bite to eat in the coffee shop and learn about the pathways we've designed to support your family's needs, because your family is ours, too.
And no worries about your kids during this event - we've got them covered! For kids ages 6 months through elementary school, we'll have fun activities in the Town Square. For your middle and high schoolers, we'll have games and pizza in the Union. ‼️There’s no cost to attend; we just ask that you register your family so that we can plan accordingly. For more information, contact Pastor Leslie at email@example.com. We hope you can join us‼️
First time ever attempting to make flax #mylk
Admittedly a laborious first attempt. I knew the mucosal layer that develops around the seeds as they are soaked would be difficult to manage when I went to drain the water after they sprouted. The process took a bit longer than anticipated but the goal was to experiment here so I had a little fun with it and made one unsweetened straight up flax and the second I blended with dates, natures best real whole food sweetener.
The goal of my experiment was to get these little #nutrient powerhouse seeds to make a foamy delicious mylk that would froth in #lattes and cappuccinos. I think based on the pics we have a winner‼️ ⏩Check my story I’ll highlight the espresso machine in action #lattelover
Thank you Larry @kandarianorganicfarms for supplying me with these delicious heirloom #organic#nutrientdense#flaxseeds 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

1 coffee cup
1 measuring cup
1 milk frother
FOR THE SALTED PUMPKIN SPICE SYRUP:
1/2 cup (80 g) of coconut sugar
1/2 cup (125 ml) of pure maple syrup
1/3 cup (80 ml) of unsweetened pumpkin purée
1 tsp of cinnamon
1/2 tsp of freshly grated nutmeg
1/4 tsp of ground cloves
1/4 tsp of fine sea salt, or to taste
1/2 tsp of Divine Essence vanilla bourbon aromatic extract
FOR THE PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE:
2 tbs (1 shot/1 ounce) of espresso
1 cup (250 ml) of unsweetened almond milk
3-4 tsp (15 to 20 ml) of salted pumpkin spice syrup
Coconut whipped cream for garnish (optional)
Dash cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice for garnish
For the Pumpkin Spice Syrup: Whisk together all syrup ingredients in a medium pot over medium heat. Simmer for about 5 to 6 minutes, stirring frequently, until smooth and slightly thickened. Remove from heat. Once cool, pour leftovers into a jar and secure lid.
Prepare the espresso or pick some up from a local coffee shop.
Add milk into a small pot. Heat over medium and bring to a simmer. Immediately remove from heat. Froth the milk using a milk frother or a French press.
Pour hot espresso into a mug. Top with all of the frothy milk. Add 3 to 4 teaspoons of the syrup, to taste, and gently stir to combine. Top with a dash of cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice, and Coconut Whipped Cream, if desired. Serve immediately...savour mindfully 🎃☕ #PSL#pumpkinspicelatte#pumpkinspiceeverything#lattes#coffeelover#vanillaextract#aromatherapyexpert#fallessentials
