So what happens when like-minded women personally connect via a brilliant women in business community?
It's pure magic. She Will Shine Member Magic to be precise!
Our members Cath @wholeheartdmktg and Harriet @harrietedmund recently joined forces and here's what the lovely Harriet had to say about it.
Harriet: "A BIG thanks to Cath Connell for an inspiring Marketing Strategy Session today!
I've been feeling paralysed when it comes to marketing my own business for a few reasons - I'm at my capacity (at the mo), I'm a wordsmith and put so much pressure on myself to write the 'perfect' content but I'm an introvert and don't really dig the oversharing nature of socials, I know what I 'need' to do but where to even begin was overwhelming me when time is tight and my client work is where it's at!
Cath gave me permission to think differently, to prioritise B2B marketing, to outsource the tasks I'm not keen on, to share my expertise/brand in ways I hadn't considered and reminded me of the personal values I bring to my business.
Very cool Cath! Thanks again x"
Cath: "I’m so glad you got some good stuff out of the session Harriet. I really enjoyed chatting with you and finding out more about what you do." Want some of your own Member Magic? Join the She Will Shine village and start spreading your own SWS fairy dust! #bettertogether
Failure hurts and it can be rough when things don’t go as planned. If we’re not careful, failure can stop us dead in our tracks. That’s why it’s important to recognize, failure doesn’t mean anything about you as a person. One of my mentors says “Failure has no consciousness. It doesn’t pick you out of a crowd.” Failure is a direct result of our actions. Nothing more, nothing less. While WE may feel emotional about our failure, failure doesn’t feel one way or another about what we’ve done.
It’s almost as if failure does us a favor. Since it’s impartial, it serves as a good measuring stick to let us know what’s working and what isn’t.
I'm curious, how do you deal with failure? Leave a comment below.

Spent 2 hours chasing @limebike scooters because I wanted this shot... couldn’t find one, so I had to use @house_of_revelry photo 😂
🚌 When I first moved to Columbus... I never envisioned I would call it home, but I love this city. I’ve met so many amazing people this summer, all from different places, different races, and different stories... but every damn one of them have been kind and all have amazing stories to tell. Look for the good in people, and you will find it. Be kind to others and others will be kind back #SundayVibes#Deeeeeep
:: #Bliss ✨Those moments where life stands still and you literally breath in, drink in and soak in the exact ‘definition of success’ you’ve intentionally worked to create. Let me tell you…it’s really, really, really, really, good. Really. #really#joyfullyintentional#liveyourbestlife
💕Hey friends... life changes all the time. It can be exciting or scary... all depends on how you view it.⠀
Earlier I was in the freshman dorms at CU Boulder... talking with three girls who were so excited to meet everyone on the floor. They’re not waiting around they’re jumping right in... making friends!!⠀
Their excitement reminds me... it’s better to jump in even when you’re scared and unsure. ⠀
This reminder was exactly what I needed... maybe you need it too!!! ✳️⠀
Starting a podcast is scary... but I’m so excited at the same time!!! ⠀
I can’t wait to launch the @Brilliantista Podcast... wish me luck!!⠀
Let me know what scary or exciting new things are you doing. 💕 ⠀

I could have spent hours admiring Cologne Cathedral. No piece of art or architecture has ever captivated my attention quite like this. The largest Gothic church in Northern Europe since building commenced in 1248, the Cologne Cathedral suffered fourteen hits by aerial bombs over 242 separate air raids during the war. Amazingly, it survived - a testament to the strength and persistence of Christian belief in medieval and modern Europe.
