I had a doctor's appointment today and I have to mention that I'm not talking about a doctor doctor, but rather a speech therapist. Hence, our 'medical sessions' pretty much look like meeting up with a friend and discussing all the world and his wife.
So right when we were talking about a festival she attended during her holiday and I wanted to see pictures of it, she pulled out her smartphone and made use of Google Now. That was when I told her that she just gave me another topic to discuss on my Instagram (she knows about y'all 😝) and here we go.
Language assistants. Do you use them? What are your reasons to use and not to use them? The relationship I personally got with language assistants is pretty much the same I have with QR codes, I can't reminisce any time I actually used them before. I guess for me it feels too weird talking to a smartphone and I feel like it's still not that advanced and even buggy that I most probably will have to repeat myself multiple times.
And yet language assistants, next to spacecraft, is what's attracting me the most because as you may or may not have figured during @techwekk's hunting game today, not too long I wanted to become a professional translator 😝 so anything that has to do with both languages and coding is calling my name.
Language is the ultimate connector.
If organizations want to extend their services and reach new markets, they have to be able to communicate with said potential clients. Don't sit the game out. Just draw a new game plan and be prepared.
We are so glad we were able to help meet that need this week for the Chattanooga Area Convention and Visitors Bureau by providing Spanish/English interpreters for their event. .

Great activity to kick start the morning ! Think I enjoyed this more than the kids 🤗 Goals: prepositions, right/left, requests, verbs. I also use this for FCD (e.g. boat, fish, flag). You can use this for many speech-sound targets also. Enjoy 🎨
