Best friend, never have I been more proud of the greatest armada in the world, the people with whom we serve, the grace & grit with which you all sacrifice, and the love we all share for the freedom and country to which we give our all. Happy birthday Navy- what an honor to get to see Admiral & Mrs Richardson, Admiral & Mrs Merz, Admiral and Mrs Kilby, & Admiral & Mrs Lobelein, Admiral & Mrs Burke, Jacqueline Penichet, Mr Novak & the incredible Captain Tammy Jo Schults, who was one of the first female Navy aviators whose tremendous training helped her build a resilient cool as she successfully landed the Southwest flight that had a piece of engine break into a window- surrounded by smoke, schrapnel, and instruments that didn’t work because the peeled back engine shook the plane so terribly. Beautiful grace, tremendous grit and an unshakeable resolve held her as she gripped her training, her faith and her characters deepest resources to bring 148 people home safely. Bless my soul, Lord- seeing women like this makes me want to grow even more. Because schools never out for the pro, and true influence comes from character and heart within.
And Steve, my handsome Navy man, you certainly capture all of mine, every day. #thankyoujesus#landofthefreebecauseofthebrave#happybirthdaynavy#lifeonpurpose#hotterthanhollywood#imarriedmybestfriend#pureadventure

This guy right here needs all our love and prayers, as he deploys to Afghanistan today. His commitment to our country is beyond admirable. He’s husband to my sister, daddy to my sweet little niece babies, and HERO to me. 🇺🇸❤️ Get you ass home safe to us Nathan. We love you. #usmc#hero#family#landofthefreebecauseofthebrave
A couple days ago, a customer of mine, who’s currently stationed at Fort Bliss, came in to get some suspension work done on his truck, and it needed to be done right away because he was being deployed... TODAY. After an insightful conversation about what his duties were and what his day “in the office” is like, I simply asked if he was ready for this tour. His response was, “I am, but my family... not so much.” Boy did that hit hard. The only way I could respond to that was to shake his hand and thank him for his service. I can’t imagine being in his shoes, let alone his loved ones who have to accept reality. For so many, this is reality, and yet, the risk of paying the ultimate sacrifice isn’t enough to deter their courage. So I just wanted to take a minute to recognize our service men and women who put their lives on the line every single day and to simply say... THANK YOU! #supportourtroops#thankyou#passiton#neverforget#landofthefreebecauseofthebrave#america#monstertruck
