There is definitely a time and place for transparent style baits!
This regram from the @booyah_baits page of the ghost 👻 colour hard and one knockers!
Baits like this will catch all kinds of light on bright days, flashing through it and off of it.
They also offer some spectacular rattling sounds below the surface, with a few models being quite loud from several feet away on the retrieve.
Great for matching the hatch and added flash on bright sunny days.

Blissful Sundays at the lake 😍 💦
The pup (can I still call her that even with the grey beard she rocks?) loving the day as much as us... Not sure how she felt about a dunk in the cold water herself but she's always stoked after 😜
Thank you Sweden! Feeling refreshed from your sparkling waters and time with the fam. Ohhhh and that’s what fresh air feels like!!🌲🙊 It was the warmest we’d experienced it for many years. There are fires now burning across the forestland, stay safe beautiful country! 🇸🇪
Leaving Mammoth Lakes town, packed with 8 days of food here I'm headed into the last section of the Sierras
The 'Lions Fire' close to Mammoth was still going and the smoke in the sky lended itself to this sunset.
And so, after dropping down from the spot in my previous post, I arrived at - Thousand Island Lake
That is one of the biggest lakes on the trail and so unique in its shape and form, with so many islands in it
BTW, I counted them. There are way less than 1000. What's up with that? 😝
At this point the PCT and another parallel trail called the JMT, split apart for several miles. The next JMT section crosses many other lakes. So guess which path I chose... 😉
