Momma B has been thinking a lot about our sisters lately. Sage (bottom right), was their first dog together. She loves to tell the story of how Momma C, who never had a dog before, had a tough time adjusting. Sage followed her around and she didn’t understand why. When Momma was off for her summer break, she gave Momma B a daily poop update! That’s when Momma B knew she was hooked. They got Sassafras (top right) to keep her company. They played for over an hour when they were introduced. But Sassafras misrepresented herself because she rarely played... She was too busy worshipping Momma B. Gia (bottom left) came to the family through one of her students. It was a sad situation but Gia was a good addition to make the trio. She was a tough little girl. After they lost Sage and Sassafras, that tough girl broke down, so they got Ola (top left) to give her some company. It worked! They basically co-existed but were good together, like us. Ola had many looks as you can see the photo on the wall is the same dog as the one on the couch! Ola was also Momma B’s soul dog. She still has a hole in her heart where Ola took a giant piece with her and still cries sometimes over her. But we always help her through it by licking off her tears and making her laugh. So, now you know our sisters. We wish we had a chance to meet them but our timing was different. And if it weren’t for them, we wouldn’t be where we are. We’re thankful for their history in our family!
Making mornings better since July 2015
We all have ‘that’ alarm. You know the first one that goes off and if you get up right away you can have a long leisurely morning...well that is Cinder’s cue to come up to my face and flop down. I will always give into her and give her scratches and pet for at least 15 minutes before I finally get out of bed. 😄 I guess she’s got me figured out
