Day 1 of the Masterclass Vegan Cooking in Amsterdam, given by @thevegetablechef (Joris Schildknecht) & @kokenmetkennis (Eke Marien). -(swipe left)- I had my first lesson last week. This lesson we focused on baking techniques, and the mechanics behind it(what makes baked goods light, heavy, fudgy, etc.). It was really fun and informative (And YUM, look at that lemon🍋 meringue pie🥧). The second lesson we’ll go more into savoury dishes. The description talks about making your own meat substitutes, vegan cheeses🧀, and more. Looking forward to it! I’ll post the whole experience on the blog when I’ve finished day 2.
