This is an awesome picture, where you can observe some interesting aspects of the diamond polishing. First, you see a central black inclusion which we are trying to work out of the stone. Secondly, you see a black layer to the side of the diamond - that’s not an inclusion but diamond powder which got stuck in the diamond. It comes off easily. Thirdly, if you look closely you can see the famous diamond polishing lines on all the facets, which our polisher leaves very visible order to continue cutting the diamond in the same direction. This will probably be a cushion or square emerald shape. #diamondfact#knowyouknow#diamondpolishing

A photo from the farm today: golden yellow caturra coffee. Long ago we were advised to pull these yellow cherried trees from our field, but I’m glad we never did. This variety later became our beloved Honeyed Yellow Caturra coffee, and a favorite among our fans. #luckywrdrinkhawaii

If you’re like me this guy mostly just sat on my shelf when it first came in my kit. I’ve been trying to find ways to use all of my oils. They each have such a variety of unique properties I want to take full advantage.
I’ve recently been using under my eyes in a roller to help combat dark circles and for healthy skin. It’s also great for teething babies, sore throats, and muscle aches. It does not need to be diluted, but you can if needed and can apply 1-2 drops to area of discomfort.
It’s used to aid in digestion, supports the body’s natural response to injury or irritation, and helps the body regulate its natural immune responses.
You can layer on top of a blend you already use to help amplify, like after rolling on a tummy, sleep, or immunity roller. You can take 1-2 drops internally in your water, juice, or tea to support your daily health regimen.
A few combos to try via roller or diffuser...
•Breathe Easy- Copaiba, Lemon, Lavender, and peppermint
•Grounding- Copaiba, Lavender, and Frankincense
When I was researching I found that the gum resin tapped from the CopaibaTree in Brazil has the highest of beta carophyllene of any known essential oil. BC is a common cannabinoid found in many plants that has many many benefits. This is a reason why it’s known as a ‘driving oil.’ I’ll stop with the boring talk now but look it up ;)
Try adding this one in with me and see what you think! #knowyouknow#newinfo#copaiba
There exists a number called as Graham's number, which is so big that if you try to grasp that number, the entropy of your brain will exceed the maximum possible limit it can hold and your brain will collapse into a black hole.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Today’s Halloween is closely associated with the vampire and thus the bat. But it hasn’t always been that way. Halloween’s origins date roughly to 2,000 years ago. And while the concept of blood-sucking demons exist in Persian and Greco-Roman mythology, the idea of the modern vampire wasn’t born until 1672 when a village in modern-day Croata accused a deceased peasant of returning from the dead to drink the blood of his neighbors (Though the creature would not take the title of “vampire” until the 1730’s). It is unclear exactly when vampires and bats became linked to one another. It is possible that the mythical creatures gained this association due to demons being illustrated with leathery or fleshy wings rather than the feather-laden wings usually ascribed to angels. It wasn’t until 1810, ~80 years after the origin of the modern vampire, that French zoologist Etienne Geoffroy first described the Common Vampire Bat, endemic only to the New World tropics. The Vampire Bat will occasionally feed on human blood, but primarily feeds on the blood of livestock. So feel free to swap out the garlic for bug spray this Halloween, because you’re more likely to have your blood sucked by a mosquito than you are a bat! #happyhalloween#halloween#anthrozoology#weirdhistory#halloweenhistoy#todayinhistory#bat#bats#mammal#vampire#vampires#vampirebat#scicomm#infographic#blood#chiroptera#knowyouknow#wildlife#naturefacts#spooky#halloween2018#batweek
