I’ve been experimenting with this process called ‘keum-boo,’ an ancient Korean gilding technique where I fuse by hand 24k gold foil onto sterling silver. Here is an example, I patina the silver to give it contrast against the gold. The turquoise is Kingman turquoise and I arranged the stones to go from light to dark. The results of this technique have always caught my eye and yesterday I worked on a project that had me drooling. I can’t wait to show you but I need to finish the clasp today 👌🏼 #agujayclavo#keumboo#kingmanturquoise
