Starting off with a personal favourite!
Loveless (1991 - Warner, 2002) was released in November 1991. It was produced by Alan Moulder (a student of Brian Eno). My Bloody Valentine had increased their potentiality by using the technology at their disposal. In particular, they thickened the "mix" of samples and electronic sounds. The soft chant of Only Shallow is first lulled by the rhythm of the guitar and the smooth rhythm section, but it is suddenly torn apart by soaring melodramatic keyboards. The distortion of I Only Said is perhaps the most pounding of their career. It was a result of an accurate processing of their tone, as if there was a feedback of feedback. Deafening chaos of that then flows through a tune that is demented by electronics and vocal harmonies are merged into a single whistle with the guitar. The harmony of Blown A Wish is so refined that it brings them into the area of the Cocteau Twins. Come In Alone, however, recovers the rhythmic psychedelia of Sgt Pepper. With Loomer, their method reaches an experimental peak. It is whispered even more slowly and immersed in a frantic strumming guitar. Sometimes is a rough diamond, with a distorted bass line in the foreground and busy strumming (acoustic) in the background. The most spirited moments on the album are When You Sleep and What You Want, the only ones which recognize the complexities of rock music. The songs are drifting and performed distractedly with no action taken, and are destined to exist in this state of permanent awe. The melody is a tinsel which emerges only from time to time. Live, those songs sometimes last for twenty minutes.
On this day two amazing album.

On The Corner: Giving The Gift Of Music
I remember our sixth-grade class moving from a portable to a classroom like it was yesterday. Everyone was helping our teacher move stuff out of the room, and I remember being in charge of carrying this rack of CDs she listened to. Among them were albums by Selena, Marques Houston, and Leona Lewis. However, one artist stood out to me in particular whose music would lead me to discover a plethora of artists once I hit high school. Dusting off Mariah Carey's "E=MC²", I had no idea on who she was at the time. I had asked my sixth-grade teacher about her, and I was immediately hooked from the very first thing she said: "She's a great artist." It was discovering the essence of how incredible her vocal range was that made me understand exactly what she meant, and from then on I became a huge fan. Since then, off of Carey's albums alone, I had found myself listening to Nas, Mobb Deep, and the Wu-Tang Clan. My love for hip-hop grew even more once I came across the Beastie Boys in the eighth grade, and once I graduated I didn't know how else to thank my teacher for telling me some interesting stories on the 90s and all the great artists she grew up with. It was only right for me to give something back to her after she gifted me a Dr. Seuss book at the end of the year.
I went downtown with my friend two summers ago, and both of us decided to go to a record store called Sonic Boom. We'd gone countless times, but this time was special, as I was deciding to buy a gift for my sixth-grade teacher. I figured that I start giving her albums I truly loved as a sign that music was just as good a teacher as she was. It was that summer that began an annual tradition for myself. I would begin gifting my teacher with the future classics of today, beginning with "To Pimp A Butterfly", and every gift I've given has never failed to impress her. I recently gave her "Channel ORANGE", an album to start off her summer.
So if I visit her sometime this month, you best believe we got a lot to talk about.
Music is a language, a teacher, and a doctor all at once. But most of all, it is a gift that keeps on giving.

Man, i love Kid Cudi.. i post a lot about him and i will, because he changed my life for real.. I didn't believe ar first in some comments like "Oh, he changed my life" or "Im so happier when i listen to him, he saved me".. I was like, what the hell are they talking about..
And after i gave it a listen, to this album on the picture, after 19 tracks of masterpiece called "Man On The Moon : The End of Day".. i was speechless...
That album saved me, i was hopeless, i was sad, angry, depressed.. Like straight line, no pulse, no breathing... No life man... Kid Cudi gave me different vibe.. He gave me hope.. He proved that life can have ups and downs.. My life drastically went downhill past 2 weeks... Lost a family member, other 2 very sick.. My best friends betrayed me... My parents always arguing and letting me down.. My brother is very problematic... All the other stuff that i dont wanna mention because there is so many more...
But after Cudi's music i became positive... I became my old self
Realising that im not alone with problems is bittersweet felling... Like it gives me hope and i became good because i know im not crazy and that depression happens to other people, but at the same time, nobody deserves that pain.. Will write much more about it, for now this is enough
Just wanted to appreciate this masterpiece that saved my life
