오늘 점심 약속 장소가 고깃집이라 혹시 몰라 야채와 아보카도를 싸갔는데.. 유명 연예인이 운영하는 화려한 시설답지 않게 서빙 엉망에 고기도 돼지갈비 양념육만 먹을 수 있겠더라는..한우 소고기가 있었지만 그 가격에 그 양을 먹긴 싫을 정도..내가 먹을만한건 곰탕밖에 없는 듯 하여 곰탕을 따로 시켜 먹었는데 고기도 무슨 레토르트 곰탕에 들은 양 질겅질겅..육수는 어떻게 만든건지 울 동네 곰탕 몇 끼를 먹어도 안그렇던데 이건 뭐 먹자마자 졸음이 쏟아지고 노곤해 미치겠다😑

EAT: Animal foods only (meat) and stay away from everything else.
No carbohydrates and no veggies.
MEAT: Beef, fatty cuts of steak and red meat are the staples to this diet.
DAIRY: Technically dairy coming from animals like milk, butter and cheese.
ANIMAL FAT: Lard, tallow and other animal-derived fats
FISH: Any type of fish is allowed although fattier cuts of fish like salmon and halibut are preferred.
TRACKING: I’m not keepin up with any macros but will continue to track my glucose and ketones in the evening (mostly out of curiosity), do some Intermittent Fasting and use my weigh-in starting point at 128.9. Today’s #KetoMealPrep was this yummy concoction: Zoodle Spaghetti, Pork Milanesa and a handful of mozzarella cheese 🤤 For the tomato sauce I used the brand Victoria, it’s organic and doesn’t contain any added sugars, you can find it at Costco in a 2pk. The zoodles are just fresh zucchini spirals that I made using my Veggetti. The pork Milanesa is made from pork chops that I dipped in egg and coated in crushed pork rinds and Parmesan cheese... then fried in bacon fat 🙌🏽🥓❤️

More cheese on #day60 of the #ketodiet ! Big surprise seeing me post another #cheeseplate , right? 😜 Here’s some #freshmozzarella , #smokedgouda , #havarti , and #stringcheese 🧀! I really only eat one or two meals a day these days, but they tend to be really big meals which include a lot of calories. Cheese is really high in #calories , so you do have to be careful about eating a ton of cheese like this, even on #Keto , but eating tons of cheese to add more bulk to my one or two meals per day, and not eating smaller snacks throughout the day, allows me to do this and it has been totally working for me! I haven’t been tracking my macros lately, and am taking on more of a #lazyKeto approach again, but that’s ok. If I get stuck or plateau again I will start tracking again to break the plateau, which worked wonders in the past. Tracking did help me learn about how many calories I should be eating per day, and I can guesstimate that now, without actually tracking. For that reason, lazy Keto right now doesn’t really look like lazy Keto when I first started, because I’m a lot more aware of what has how many calories, and how much food my body actually needs. That doesn’t mean that what I’m doing now is just as good as tracking everything, but it’s working, and I think it’s important for me to allow myself to be flexible with how I manage my #diet , and to sometimes track things and sometimes not, because I want this to be a #lifelongchange for me, and life is a rollercoaster. Sometimes I’m #motivated to do all of the number crunching, and sometimes I just don’t have the mental capacity for that, but both ways work. It’s so much better for me to think of it this way and go lazy Keto when I need a break, than to take on an all or nothing approach, and just quit if I’m not giving it 100%, 100% of the time. Lazy Keto does work! However, if you do get stuck, I definitely recommend tracking your macros, as well as your water intake! Depending on how aware you are and how intuitively you’re eating, you may not need to continue doing that, moving forward, but it is such a helpful tool to have available, even if you’re not into tracking all the time!

Hey guys! 🙋🏽♀️Today I started my egg fast. 🍳I told myself I’m going to do 3 day’s BUT if I’m able to do 2 more days then I will. 😬 .
This is what I ate today:
Attempted a BPC, couldn’t drink it🤷🏽♀️
1 hard boiled eggs & a string cheese
(Attempted 2, but only ate one & put the other in my egg salad) .
Egg salad tostada
4 eggs, 4oz cheese .
Egg loaf & scrambled eggs
3 eggs, 2 oz cream cheese, 2T butter .
Today I’ve eaten a total of 8 eggs! 😬
I had planned to make egg roll in a bowl tonight for dinner... realized too late that I didn’t have the ground meat I thought I had 😢. That’s ok, I had frozen chicken breast tenderloins and @peaceloveandlowcarb recently put out a recipe that’s a variation of the original ERIAB- sesame chicken egg roll in a bowl! (GOOGLE either of those things to get the full recipes please and thank you 😊). That recipe calls for broccoli slaw, which I didn’t have either. So I improvised (as I usually do).
I followed the recipe for the sesame chicken version, but instead of broccoli slaw I used 3 cups (170g) of Cole slaw mix and a package of @allnewdles that conveniently arrived today! SWIPE ⬅️ to see noodle info. They come with seasoning and soup mix & stuff but I didn’t use them - just the noodles. I’ve had konjac noodles before (different company) and though I didn’t MIND them, I wasn’t a huge fan of that rubbery, chewy texture they tend to have.
These didn’t have that!! The texture was SPOT ON like a Lo mein kind of thing.... I was pleasantly surprised. This turned out SO FREAKING GOOD- a little spicy, haha I have a bad habit of doing that... next time I’ll cut back on the chili garlic sauce.
Anyway, a HUGE serving of noodles (half the pan) clocked in at 6.6 NET carbs (9.8 TOTAL)... I added some sugar free yum yum sauce (go see @keto_in_pearls for that recipe!) to help cut the heat a little... if you’ve followed me a while, I know you’re not surprised AT ALL by that haha with the yum yum sauce it was 7 net carbs for a ridiculously filling dinner.
This WILL happen again! @allnewdles was nice enough to send me several varieties to try so I’m excited!
