Post workout breakfast today: 3 scrambled eggs, 1/4 avocado, 1 pack piri piri grass fed biltong @eatbiltong and a good amount of chili. I enjoy every meal I eat and I’m very grateful for every day in my life. We all have goals and everyone is constantly searching for treasure, what is great and what keeps us driven, but we shouldn’t forget that the journey to the ultimate goal or whatever you’ll call it, is the actual treasure. Dinner tonight was super simple and delicious. Ground turkey cooked in coconut oil, butter and garlic herbs. Once cooked I added mushrooms, onions (not much), garlic, and broccoli. Let that simmer and I had myself a meal and hubbys lunch for work tomorrow. My food always has to have some kind of spice and sriracha was my choice for tonight and lucky for me I stayed at only 13 net carbs for the day 🙌🏼

OK... So... I have several clients of mine not necessarily following a ketogenic lifestyle... But intermittent fasting is something they try.... And some common complaints I hear about during a fasting period are hunger pains, dizziness, or severe fatigue... All of these have quite a simple remedy and reason for them occurring.... During a fasting period our bodies mineral usage completely changes
.. For example our kidneys will begin dumping sodium out of our bodies.... And this results in our blood volume decreasing as well as our body pulling potassium from the muscles to compensate... Which then leads to muscle Fatigue and cramps... So... Quite simple solution... STAY ON TOP OF YOUR MINERALS WHILE YOU FAST!!... the pictures above are the 3 mineral supplements I use during my fasts... My bottle of water during a fast is not plain water... It has himalayan salt in it... And I time interval doses of some potassium and magnesium during the fasting period... All of these combined keep me feeling energized, hydrated, and not hungry.... I feel fantastic actually... I have Already completed a 45 minute easy workout this morning and have a heavy leg day planned with a client this afternoon.. All of which will be done before breaking my 24 hour fast.... Guys... It can be done and it is healthy to do sometimes.... But I definitely do not recommend a 24 hour fast to beginners.

Transform your health by eating more FAT and less SUGAR. Trust me, sugar is the enemy. I’ve eaten so much fat (butter, avo, coconut oil, mct oil, cheese, nuts, whole eggs) over the last 15 months that according to old research i should have probably been dead by now with a blocked artery or something but im actually feeling better than ever.
Im not saying that this will 100% work for everyone but if your not feeling great (energy, mental focus, sleep) wise you owe it to yourself to give Keto a go. Try it for at least 4-8 weeks and then decide for yourself.

It was my munchkin’s first day of school so honestly I was too worried and stressed and nervous and excited to do anything so I took a rest day. I’ve eaten so much broccoli today lmao. Tomorrow i will resume gym, and enjoy the rest of my days off before we start the work week again.
I can’t actually remember what a cyclone ice lolly tastes like, but they used to be one of my all time faves! Nowadays, this is as close as I’ll get to finding out 😂 been nearly 3 years with 🚫 sugar! Time flies ⏰
I see quite a few posts tagged Keto or paleo yet when you read the ingredients or look at the ingredients you see vegetable oils.
From my study they are definitely not on your wanted fats list.
Avoid All Unhealthy Oils
Processed vegetable oils, margarine, hydrogenated oils, partially hydrogenated oils and other trans fats, interesterified fats - sunflower, safflower, cotonseed, canola, soybean, grapeseed and corn oil are all damaging to your health. Trans fatty acids and processed oils:
are oxidized during high-heat processing which creates free radicals
they are often made from genetically modified seeds
are pro-inflammatory and bad for your gut health
consumption of trans fats increases risk of coronary heart disease
consumption of trans fats negatively affects cholesterol levels - reduces concentrations of HDL cholesterol ("good" cholesterol) and increases concentrations of low-density LDL cholesterol ("bad" cholesterol)
associated with increased risk of cancer
Trans fats do exist in nature but also occur during the processing of polyunsaturated fatty acids in food production. Naturally occurring trans fats have been found to be beneficial compared to artificial trans fats. Natural trans fats are found in dairy products and meat from grass-fed animals.
Artificial trans fats are referred to as "metabolic poison". Eliminate these from your diet by avoiding foods that contain hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils. These types of trans fats are typically found in margarines, cookies, crackers or even French fries.

Hi guys! 🙋🏽♀️ So I’ve been out of town for a few days & I just got home. I’ll admit that I did do some poor eating last night at the buffet.🤷🏽♀️ I’m not going to continue to eat poorly just because I chose to last night. That one meal is not going to set me back nor is it going to define me. 😉 I’m happy to be home and start planning my meals for the rest of the week. 🤗
