#aboutlastweekend - There's a time for hard work and then there is a time to celebrate. I gotta tell you guys, @axelspringer_se certainly knows how to throw a party! These are just a few of my personal impressions of our company's Christmas Party: unicorns 🦄, ball pool, Village People, a CEO dressed as a drag queen, McDonald's and just whole bunch of amazing people!
I've been in bed at 7am. Any repercussions? Unfortunately yes: my glasses broke, my phone screen broke & maybe some drunk texts I regretted the next day. Anyways, to quote @fergie: "a little party never killed nobody". 😉🤙🏻
"Looking out at the open skyline
Reaching out, I can almost touch the place
Where the lost ones find their freedom
In the dark, but I am not afraid
No, I am not afraid." ⠀

Caught the sunset right as we explored the deeper regions of Shikoku in the Iya Valley. It was hard deciding if we should be enjoying the beautiful moment or be busy snapping photos. Do you encounter similar dilemma during your travels? 😂

A moment of complete silence. Took some days off from here, from the phone and screens. Got some well-needed break from social media. it made me realize that it can be a struggle to take a step back, putting the camera down, letting the inbox wait. Then you reach a certain point, a border if you will. Feelings of needing to do to all the above turn into fresh new energy. Freedom to think outside the thousands of pictures you see every day. A little reminder that now and then one should allow oneself to take a break. To grow. To find new ideas. And staying true to oneself
