Ready in a Rush!
While I prefer fresh food that hasn’t seen the inside of a freezer, can or microwave before my plate, I don’t let that throw off my nutritional goals for my meal when I’m pressed for time. Beans from a can are better than deli meat or other quick ‘n easy but processed meats. Fresh green beans that have been steamed in a microwave are better than no vegetables at all! And there’s actually research that says canned tomatoes are more nutrient rich. This frozen sweet corn tamale from @traderjoes packs a lot of flavor as well as nutrients to keep your meal interesting and enjoyable. If you are starving, eat an apple while you prepare your plate!
