I’m working this midsummer eve but sitting standby just in case. So far the traffic’s been working just 👍🏻 which means I’ve spent my working hours starting this new #wip for yet another friend. A pattern I’ve been admiring for quite some time now.
Pattern: #trellisandchevronblanket by @cypresstextiles , yarn: Järbo Cookie, hook: 5.5 mm
The lovely ladies @daantjesheart and @rikaulricha has asked me for #widn , Thank you for thinking of me 😙. I’m adding hexies and colours to my latest #wip but yesterday I went to Dalhalla to see Nick Cave (see short film over at @kaijsah ) who was truly amazing!
Would the oh so inspiring women @nennenoma2 @tangleandstitch and @aricrochet like to share? No pressure 💙
Pattern: #carefreeblanket Yarn: Holst Garn coast, hook: 4.5 mm
Today I finally got to give this shawl to one of my favorite persons in the world. Look how well she wears it! Congratulations Angie25 😙, proud to be your friend!
Yarn: Holst Garn Coast, pattern: #lostintimeshawl , hook: 3.0 mm
About pride. I’m proud that I’m always learning new skills, both in crochet and life. And that I always try to be the best version of me that I can be. We should all be kind to ourselves instead of hard. We’re all just humans and no matter what you accomplish or make you should feel proud of the little things you achieve every day. No matter big or small. For some it might just be to get out of the bed one day and that’s fine. For some it might be climbing Mount Everest and that’s fine too. We’re all good enough and should be proud of that. Every day.
Remember to always be your own biggest fan. 💙

I found some lovely greenish/blueish stones at the beach in Montenegro. Inspired by those colours I started to make a summer blankie!
Pattern: #carefreeblanket by the awesome @cypresstextiles , yarn: Hols Garn Coast, hook: 4.5 mm
I’ve made my very first tassels! They’ll finish off my lost in time shawl and even though they’re far from perfect I’m glad I came up with this solution to make them removable since the shawl is machine washable (but I doubt the tassels would make it). I’ll make more in the future to perfect my skills. 💠🌐❇️🌟
Yarn: Holst Garn- Coast, beads from @panduroofficial
The market bag is finished and I’m happy with how it turned out. I used star stitch between the handles just because I fancy them. Have also thought of an improvement that I’ll try next time.
I’d also like to thank you all for the love and kind words on my last post, they were comforting to read 🖤.
Pattern: my own version of the #frenchmarketbag that originally was made by @twoofwands , yarn: Järbo garn 8/4, hook: 4.0mm.
Seeing everybody else making #frenchmarketbag ‘s is making me want one too! Let’s see if I can figure out the pattern... Might add a touch of my own if everything works out right!
Yarn: Järbo 8/4, pattern: my own inspired by @twoofwands (amongst others), hook: 4.0 mm.
I was asked for #widn by the sweet @blagecrochetdesign and this is my current situation 👌🏻.
Would the lovely girls @iiirdwind @lillalotta @crochetingkay and my new friend @alexandra.eklof like to play along? No pressure!
Yarn: drops fabel, pattern: #harlequinblanket hook: 4.0 mm
I LOVE mustard but these neutrals almost make me wish I’d skipped it in favor for an all neutral blankie. Oh well... next time!
Yarn: drops fabel, pattern: #cornertocornercrochet hook: 4.0 mm
My sweet friend @erika.and.crow asked me #widn and this is it: I’m joining squares! Hopefully I’ll finish this small cat blanket within a week. 💛🧡🖤
Would @nesimerciger @nennenoma2 and @alicebyday like to play? No pressure as always 😙.
Yarn: drops fabel, pattern: #cornertocornercrochet , hook: 4.0 mm.
This weeks theme at @craftastherapy is #craftastherapy_inspiredby and one of my favorite accounts here on IG is @alicebyday who is a truly crochet genius. Oh, the colour combinations and all the lovely things she’s creating! A big piece of crochet heaven right there. The colours in this pillowcase (among other things I’ve done) is definitely inspired by her. Thank you Alice!💜
Yarn: drops alpaca, pattern: my own, hook: 3.5 mm
A few squares added. I also finished my lace scarf but since I’m working all days there’s not enough daylight to take a decent pic when I get home 🙁.
Yarn: drops karisma, pattern: my own, hook: 7.0 mm
These are my finished projects for 2017. A couple of blankets and cozy shrugs and shawls (one not pictured), a tablecloth, a doilie, a poncho and a towel.
In 2018 I’ll make at least 3 blankets, a sweater, a shawl, a scarf, one or a couple of pillow cases and perhaps the placemats I’ve been thinking about doing some years now... Let the production begin!
I want to thank you all in this great community for all the inspiration and joy you bring me. Although the changes of IG hasn’t been in my favor I hope things will change for the better. I’d love the chronological feed to come back or at least be optional for those (me) who wishes. Well, enough whining! ☺️
Happy new year and may the crojo stay strong all through 2018! 💫✨
Yarn: drops karisma, pattern: #cornertocorner , border: #mossstitch , hook: 7.0 mm
Finally time came for the square designed by my IG friend- the very talented Johanna @ihan_oikea_blogi . Look at this powerful square, makes me think of the feminist sign (gender symbol for female often with raised fist in the circle) ✊🏻⭕️.
Yarn: Holst garn coast, pattern: #kalevalacal_neidonkehrä , hook: 4.0 mm
“Swan of Tuonela” reminds me of the star of Bethlehem which- given the day- feels rather suiting. I wish you all a very merry Christmas! 🌟
Yarn: Holst garn coast, pattern: #kalevalacal_tuonelanjoutsen , hook: 4.0 mm
Last week I started a new job which means very little time to crochet but here’s nine finished squares for the #kalevalacal#kamalicrochet
Yarn: Holst garn coast, pattern: various squares for the Kalevala cal, hook: 4.0 mm
