The talented Brian Rendon standing by one of his pieces that was juried in to the New Horizons Landscapes show at the 3 Square Art Gallery in Fort Collins. So great to see his work and to give him a hug. His work is a fascinating up cycle of discards proving that there is beauty in even the most mundane. So happy he’s receiving the recognition he deserves.

Visiting China in Baton Rouge —Our collaboration takes us around the world. We love to experience different places, people, cultures and make work in those settings. The ‘making’ trips that we embark on invigorates us, our eyes, and our minds to be able to continue work as well as make new work in our collaborative practice. Our surroundings seep in and flow out in what we make. In our recent trip we went to New Orleans (although seemingly vintage China) and we are happy to share the work with you today at @sfcamerawork opening reception. Come join us tonight from 6-8 at SF Camerawork and see what we are working on. #collaboration#artcollaboration#collaborationart#sfartists#chairconversations
Tio II by Gediyon Kifle is the second place winner in our Hill Center Galleries Regional Juried Exhibition. This photo is huge and striking in person. Worth a visit to see before the show ends in September.
