Wk7 D4, Total Body Hiit! It definitely kicked my butt, but i didn't quit! It was harder than i remember because I am sore everywhere already from pushing myself and the new setup of our workouts this week! But i got it done! Plus side even though i was already really sore, my stamina is still better! <3 
Now 3 'rest' days (I might do some yoga and the stretching workouts... maybe a short fun workout...), to crush the '3 Day Refresh'! Come back strong on Monday for the last week! (Then I will repeat the shred weeks until i can start with Shaun T's new program coming out (early release) Dec 4th! Woo!)

Today my little workout partner decided to jump into my after workout selfie. With cookies all over her face. She is one of the reasons why I do what I do. I pull out my weights and line them up and automatically she runs over looking for her weights. She gets excited when she sees the workouts start and claps. When I do my core rounds 90% of the time she is on my stomach. I know I’m teaching my daughter and 2 sons that it’s ok to put yourself 1st. Exercise is fun and it’s important to put your health first. So.... Brace your core

I woke up and had all the excuses: I had a headache, didn’t get a ton of sleep, majorly PMSing, craving ALL the carbs and sweets, it’s a snow day, etc. 🤛🏻🤛🏻
Instead of listening to those voices, I messaged my workout accountability group, told myself how much better I’d feel once the workout is over, downed my liquid gold prework, and put my gym shoes on. 🤛🏻🤛🏻
And let me tell you in the words of Elle Woods, “exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy!” I’m so glad I pressed play and pushed through.

I want to be able to lift heavy things without asking for assistance. I want to do Rugged Maniac and be able to help others through the obstacles. After a rest day yesterday, I was ready for shoulders and arms.  Sadly, my left shoulder wasn't quite as ready as my mind felt today!  So I lightened up the weights to keep good form and not injure myself.  #listentoyourbody .

My life is full of very busy days at the minute, and I can easily get caught up in that busy-ness.  Yesterday was a prime example, but I remembered between meetings to just stop and breathe deeply for a minute or two to refocus the mind and body into slow.  Then by the end of the day I wasn't still running on full speed mentally, but able to stop and relax.  #slowdown .

Wk7 day 3 done! Shoulders/Arms - Circuit. Today is a scheduled rest day but i skipped to Thursdays workout so i can have 3 days off in a row to do the 3 day refresh kit. I was able to up my weight (or hold my heavier weight longer) in the moves tonight! Been a while since I've upped in shoulder press, so that was nice! No hiit today, but thats alright because tomorrows workout if ALL hiit! Total Body Hiit 😶 should be fun! ;-)

I picked up in LIIFT4 where I left off in October - starting week 3. Today was day 1 of that week which was chest and tris and LIIFT. I lowered my weights because I wasn’t sure where I was at with them and I think I made a smart move. At first they felt light but by round 3 they were not light anymore.
