Meet Jase, our protocol has helped him so lose over 20 kilos (which is 9 of the body fat models he’s holding!) swipe to see his before pic.
here’s what Jase had to say about his experience with our Recal protocol “I’ve lost 20 kilos but biggest benefit by far is how good I feel mentally. Sure buying new clothes cause the old ones are too big and people commenting on how good you look is uplifting and motivating but I cannot express enough just how focused, energised and balanced my head and life is by simply focusing on good nutrition & sleep. It’s been a game changer for me”
Butter Chicken & Vegetables with Cauliflower Rice.
Sunday is my food prep day for the week (and sometimes month) ahead.
If I don’t get myself ready for the week ahead with meal ideas, vegetables prepped + meals like this Butter Chicken cooked, it can all turn to chaos with me grabbing food on the go, wasting money AND feeling sub-par because my body just doesn’t thrive if it isn’t being fuelled with fresh whole food.
Today I spent some time on my wholefoods eBook where I was focusing on how to make this transition easy for my clients, so I decided to try @chefpeteevans new ready-to-go sauces, this one being the Butter Chicken.
Not everyone loves to cook, but when given the space + easy to follow instructions, they can learn to enjoy it; especially when they realise how good they feel from cooking + eating this way!!
The sauce worked well, it’s tasty and is free of dairy, eggs, seed oils and sugar, although maybe a bit too tomatoey for me.
I made sure there were a lot of vegetables added in the dish and with the cauliflower rice - get them in where you can peeps!
I do prefer the recipe version that you make from scratch - I highly recommend giving it a go - however, this is a great option for those who are wanting to make healthier choices, and are starting out on this journey but just not yet 💯 comfortable in the kitchen.
We all start somewhere, it’s just a matter of starting!
The Butter Chicken + Cauliflower Rice can be made in advance and will heat up well later in the week. You can even freeze it for later in the month.
And if you don’t like / eat chicken just replace it with your favourite protein: chickpeas, tofu, fish. You do you guys!
Don’t forget to make it a little more exciting with fresh herbs, a squeeze of lime juice + some toasted almond flakes or sesame seeds!
Beautiful Buckwheat & Tofu Umami Bowl with balsamic portobellos and broccolini. I recreated this using a great recipe from @thefullhelping.
Made a delicious almond butter dressing using @forty__thieves and covered the organic tofu in @ceresorganics sriracha. Portobellos marinated in @redislandevoo evoo + balsamic vinegar.
All the flavours just kinda worked strangely enough!
Had a lovely day in the garden today planting passion fruit vines and feijoa trees. Can’t wait to walk around the garden and pick fruit with my girl 🍊🍑🍒🍐
I don’t know how my story will end, but nowhere in my text will it ever read ..... “I gave up” .
8 weeks today since I broke my heel and in 3 days I get to take this moon boot off and start focusing on building my strength back up!
Bring it on!!! I will be running by December!!!! Just try and stop me 🥊
Incorporating in a little more solid food, but keeping it super healthy!!
I had carrot turmeric bisque which was amazing, along with a grass fed roast beef lettuce wrap “sandwich.”
So grateful for healthy options while eating out. One of the perks of going into Boulder!
It’s times like these that I’m thankful for my #freezerstash of healthy meals and snacks to keep me sustained. During my emergency c-section, I lost quite a lot of blood so I’ve been feeling very lethargic and exhausted. I am trying to up my iron intake through diet, so it’s very important I’m fueling my body well right now.
STRAWBERRY PARFAIT: Feel like something bright, light and refreshing? This strawberry yoghurt parfait is light as a feather and paired with a berry and mint salad and crispy granola clusters.
If I could take this pregnant I would! As some little person who shall remains nameless.. hasn’t slept much this week and may be making this mama crazy! 🤣
But seriously this blend is something many of us need. The ingredient ashwaghanda is know to help de stress, and calm you! Pretty cool huh! There’s also a whole lot of other goodness in this one!
My lazy Sunday version of #EatTheRainbow
Lazy because I batch made this yesty so I could come home from teaching today and go full sloth mode....think ugg boots, wood fire (where the f is spring by the way?!), chai’s, a juicy Yin sesh in front of the fire once ratbags are in bed, could I possibly squeeze a bath in there too??!! (cue complete ignoring of ALL the laundry to be done). Thai quinoa salad recipe thanks to @eatwithclarity 😋

Had such a lovely morning strawberry picking! If you’re stuck for activities to do with the kids these school holidays head up to Wanneroo and support our local farmers. If you’re worried about this whole needle debacle just make sure to cut them up! Strawberries are amazing little nutrient bursts - vitamin C, antioxidants, manganese, folate and potassium just to name a few. Plus some vitamin D while you’re picking! You’ll have fresh berries to last you for days!
If you’ve been following me for any prolonged period of time, you’re well aware of two things: 1) I’m one sick puppy, and 2) Anytime I leave the boys, I make them special treats before I go to temper the mom-guilt a little. Since I’m about to leave them for 10 days (the longest I’ve ever been away since I became a parent a decade ago 😩) for a little jaunt around Italy, France + Spain, today was no exception. How I did these Peanut Butter Crunch Chocolate Cups👇🏼 #savoringtheflavoring
1. Melted 1/2 cup chopped dark chocolate + 3 tbsp coconut oil + stirred until smooth.
2. Spooned enough into each of 4 baking cups in a muffin tin to cover the bottoms + stuck the tin in the freezer to harden.
3. PB filling: 3 tbsp PB + 1 tbsp coconut oil + a teeny drizzle of raw honey + a couple tbsp brown rice cereal + 1/2 tsp chia seeds, all mixed together. Spooned a little into each cup, flattened it out + divided the rest of the chocolate between each cup. Sprinkled each with a little sea salt + stuck back in the freezer another 30 min or so. 🤤👌🏼

Thank you to Kate Barnes for the interview (link in Kate’s bio) where we discussed skin care and health. #repost @kate_barnes_health_coaching
Skin care 💚 💯 .
What we put on our skin is super important ✅ It can;
☀️be directly absorbed into our bodies. Contributing to cellular dysfunction. .
🐛 disrupt our skins microbiome. .
🌿 disrupt the epidermis. The outer barrier that protects our skin and ultimately our body. .
To learn more about this important, yet perhaps misunderstood topic, I spoke with someone who knows the industry and the science very well 🔬 . .
Meet Marion O'Leary, Founder of @mokoshskincare Certified Organic Fair Trade💚🌿💚. .
Even if you're using all natural, 100% organic ingredients, have a listen to our chat 🎧 .
Marion shared with me the key ingredients we need to avoid and then what we need to look for in a quality product. .
I was totally surprised by a couple of them... .
For example how could water (aqua) 💧 or aloe vera be something we need to be aware of? 🤯
Similar to me, Marion has a Science background and has delved deep into the research 🧐
As one friend shared;
"Wow! Marion is an amazing wealth of knowledge!
I have spent a fortune on organic skincare which adorns my bathroom - and every single product except for a few oils all contain water even my xxxx... or xxxx with aloe Vera. I was so surprised!"
I am delighted to share with you her knowledge and wisdom. I hope you enjoy and importantly, it helps 🙏👌💫 Link in my bio and at https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=jjZLUC_Va-Q
And remember healthy, vibrant skin is ultimately #aninsidejob 💥🌟

🥓 Bacon, Haloumi and EBTB seasoning, I mean cumaaarn
🧀 You’d think I’d devoured it
☹️ ... I didn’t, I was so keen before I cooked it, cooked it and then only ate 2 rashers and two bites of the haloumi
🤔 Something is up and I don’t know what
🐶 Jibby however had an incredibly hearty lunch!
☕️ I’m hanging for a massive mug of tea, but... suddenly not hungry 🤷🏻♀️
They say stop looking for love and you’ll find it (true in my experience) which is basically what happened after i went to 2 stores earlier this week to find #whole30compliant hash browns but came up empty handed and gave up. But today i stumbled on @cascadianfarm hash browns at @sprouts and i can finally make @wholekitchensink slow cooker breakfast casserole with @pedersonsfarms 🥓. So excited for breakfast tomorrow!! #septemberwhole30#jerf#slowcooker#breakfast#whole30#paleo#baconbaconbacon
I’ve been on a salad kick lately. Trying to eat the greens before they go bad and really enjoying them🙌🏼 newest obsession is marinated onions by @nocrumbsleft SO GOOD. Dressings I used: @tessemaes habanero ranch and balsamic vinaigrette and @primalkitchenfoods lemon turmeric. #saladaday#whole30#whole30recipes#septemberwhole30

Happy first day of Fall 🍃🍂🍁Apple crisp is always a favourite of mine this time of year! I added protein powder to the crumble for an extra protein boost! Here is the recipe⬇️
•6 medium gala apples, peeled, cored and chopped
•½ lemon freshly squeezed (about 2 Tbsp. juice)
•1 tsp cinnamon
•1 cup large flake oats
•¼ cup oat flour
•¼ cup @LeanFitBrand Vanilla Whey protein powder
•½ cup coconut sugar
•1 tsp cinnamon
•½ tsp nutmeg
•¼ cup coconut oil, soft
Preheat oven to 375ºF. Peel, core and chop apples and place in large mixing bowl, add fresh lemon and cinnamon, mix together until combined and set aside. Stir together all crisp ingredients except coconut oil until well combined. Add coconut oil to dry ingredients and mix together using your hands until all clumps are gone. In 8x8 glass baking dish pour apple mixture in and top with the crisp mixture, spread equally over apples and press down gently (I covered mine with foil while baking). Bake for approximately 30-35 minutes in preheated oven until edges are crisp and bubbling. Let cool slightly and serve with greek yogurt or ice cream if desired. 🍎🍏
