We travel, initially, to lose ourselves; and we travel, next, to find ourselves. We travel to open our hearts and eyes and learn more about the world than our newspapers will accommodate. We travel to bring what little we can, in our ignorance and knowledge, to those parts of the globe whose riches are differently dispersed. And we travel, in essence, to become young fools again — to slow time down and get taken in, and fall in love once more. — Pico Iyer
Happy weekend!😊 📷 from Jardin du Luxembourg, Paris, France 🇫🇷 #paris#jdltravels#travel#weekend#happiness
Latepost. I was kinda lost in Paris took a subway but got out a wrong station, so I hailed a cab instead going to Champs Élysées and passed by the Louvre.😍 And again it’s a sight to behold.😍♥️♥️♥️ #paris#jdltravels#louvre
The 25-hectare Jardin du Luxembourg is the second largest public park in Paris. The Luxembourg Palace (not in the photo, on my left side) has become the seat of French senate.
The grounds are ornated by over a hundred statues, monuments, and fountains. The gardens featured prominently in Victor Hugo's novel Les Misérables. #jardinduluxembourg#breathtaking#paris#jdltravels#europetrip#travel
Notre-Dame de Paris. Dreams do come true. And the power of spoken words. I believe all this. When I was young, sa libro or sa movies ko lang eto nakikita. And that time I dreamt of this and I said to myself, makakasimba din ako dito. I wasn’t able to visit the first opportunity coming here in Paris. But I guess faith never fails. And now I did.♥️♥️♥️ Just had my mass. And kapalan lang ng face makisuyo para makapagpapicture.😬 Mandatory to.😃 #europetrip#jdltravels#paris#notredame

Notre Dame Cathedral of Luxembourg 🇱🇺 The cathedral is of Gothic architecture, and the first stone of the church was laid on 7 May 1613.
Around 50 years later, the catholic church was consecrated as the Church of Our Lady and in 1870, it was elevated by Pope Pius IX to the Cathedral of Notre-Dame. #jdltravels#travel#luxembourg#notredame#catholicchurch
Luxembourg 🇱🇺 is a small European country, surrounded by Belgium, France and Germany. Its capital, Luxembourg City, is famed for its fortified medieval old town perched on sheer cliffs. The official languages are French, German and Luxembourgish, sometimes considered a dialect of German.🤓
Just booked a month long trip in September to Europe and Northern Africa. So far we're going to Spain, Morocco, a free week that's not determined and then ending in Paris. More details on IG stories. I've never travelled for an entire month before so any tips on packing would be great. I'm debating trying to challenge myself to just bring a Carry-on suitcase? Any tips for places to see, how to pack for a month without having "I wish I packed _______" FOMO, good products for lots of sun exposure, comment below. Also for my free week I'm leaning london, but maybe Germany could be fun? 🤷🏻♂️#travelblogger#gibraltar#JDLtravels
If you are lucky enough to have lived in Paris as a young man, then wherever you go for the rest of your life, it stays with you, for Paris is a moveable feast.

Remembering my trip to Paris.❤️😊 #paris#travel#jdltravels
Empty Sky is the official New Jersey September 11 memorial to the state's victims of the September 11 attacks on the United States. It is located in Liberty State Park in Jersey City at the mouth of Hudson River across from the World Trade Center site. Designed by Jessica Jamroz and Frederic Schwartz, it was dedicated on Saturday, September 10, 2011, a day before the tenth anniversary of the attacks.
Times Square. One of the world's most visited tourist place here in NYC, according to Google an estimated 50 million visitors annually. Approximately 330,000 people pass through Times Square daily, which is really not a square,🙄😃 but more like a bow tie in shape, while over 460,000 pedestrians walk through on its busiest days.❤️😊
Paintings of Raphael. Contemporaries of Michael Angelo and Leonardo Da Vinci. The middle painting is named as St. Michael. One of my favorites of his artwork. The work depicts the Archangel Michael in combat with the demons of Hell, while the damned suffer behind him.
