After doing my first ice dance lesson today (!!!), I played around with my favorite Adam Rippon inspired combo: layback into a back camel. Can’t wait to see how this (and my ice dancing skills) get better with time! 💪🏻⛸😃
I’m finally starting to recover from a terrible case of laryngitis! I was so itching to get back on the ice all week, and I think it shows. 🙈 ⛸
I love the off-season because it gives me time to work on my basic positions and strengthen my skating skills. I’m focusing this week on cleaning up my camel positions and getting more speed.

So I decided today that my Jackson freestyle boot & MK phantom revolution blade can’t be retired just yet... I need them for Showskate since I’m jumping in those programs😊 and I was in the middle of changing skates today after finishing up dance stuff with Luke and my Mom yells “WAIT!!! We need a pic with one foot in each skate” 😂
So skate on left is my “freestyle” foot and skate on the right is my “dance” foot - both fabulous @jackson.ultima skates and both superb @mkblades blades! 💜💜💜
