I’ve been thinking a lot about having a more sustainable wardrobe recently. Lots of people I follow are doing no-new-clothes challenges and are thinking very seriously about their shopping habits. For many years now, I’ve really only bought second hand or vintage but I am not a saint and have occasionally been sucked into buying cheap stuff from Primark. I was reflecting on a recent post from @veshoevius about how stores like this have a bad reputation but purchases from them can better be justified if we keep them for a long time and wear them a lot. My love of jackets knows no bounds and here are 4 that I bought from Primark and have had for several years. The folk embroidered one could easily be mistaken for Zara and the tartan one even has a slight Westwood vibe.
I’m always trying to improve so watch this space as I consider taking on one of the challenges myself!!
