~Banded Deadlifts 💀~ I use this exercise quite a lot when I am teaching a client to deadlift, specifically stiff leg deadlift, or RDL. 🏋️♂️ This exercise teaches you to activate your lats and keep the bar close to your body. 🏋️♂️ Keeps the weight in your heels when performing the exercise. 🏋️♂️ Ensures you learn how to hinge properly and really feel that stretch in the hamstrings. 🏋️♂️ Great as a warm up, rehab or assessor exercise. 🤸♀️🤸♀️

A person who thinks all the time has nothing to think about except thoughts. So... he loses touch with reality and lives in a world of illusions. By thoughts I mean specifically, Chatter in the skull perpetual and compulsive repetition
of words, of reckoning and calculating.
I'm not saying that thinking is bad. Most of us would have
Rather money than tangible wealth.
And a great occasion is somehow spoiled for us unless photographed.
And to read about it the next day in the newspaper.
Is oddly more fun for us than the original event.
This is a disaster...
For as a result of confusing the real world of nature with mere signs.
We are destroying nature.
We are so tied up in our minds that we've lost our senses
Time to wake up.
What is reality?
Obviously... no one can say
Because it isn't words.
It isn't material, that's just an idea.
The point cannot be explained in words.
Im not trying to put you down
It's an expression of you as you are.
One must live...
We need to survive to go on...
We must go on.
They won't understand why you're leaving... They won't understand the financial investments you'll make... They won't understand why you're so joyous and happy.... They won't understand why you chose that woman/man to do life with... They won't understand why you take no days off... They wont understand why you're doing more reading and less television watching... They just won't understand, that you'd rather be more like YOU and less like THEM💯
I couldn't love any collection of words more today than I do these ones right here.
I know all of this, I know this , I know this, I know it.
If only this fucking fear knew it too.
But I have made decisions, connections, appointments in recent days.
I have sought therapy disguised as coffee dates, I have used any and all of my help lines, called out to the ones I know will love me through it all, I have given my hand freely to those sent to offer me their own.
So I will see this day, this realization and awakening.
I swear it.

In the not-so-distant past, I had a lot of “I will nevers”.
I will never wear skinny jeans.
Pretty much live in them now.
I will never run a 5K.
Completed two of them so far.
I will never have strong arms.
Some serious muscle tone has arrived in those arms.
I will never wear a bikini after having kids.
Rocked one all summer long.
I will never have time to meal plan.
Now a part of my weekly routine.
I will never eat brussel sprouts, broccoli, sweet potatoes or cabbage.
Eat all of these foods and more.
I will never be happy with my body.
My perspective has totally changed.
The only “I will never” currently in my vocabulary: I will NEVER stop working towards the best and healthiest version of myself.
All of the others I used to tell myself? Now I know that anything is possible ❤️
