Progress isn’t pretty. My form sometimes suffers and the expressions and noises I make could scare away most.
Today was ugly. My workout was brutal working through post leg day muscle soreness. My last few reps of squats were shaky at best. But, I finished it.
I know that those last few reps, those struggles are what builds. You either do it or you don’t. For me, if I want it, I don’t give myself the option to quit.

Whenever I see something I love, I try to figure out how to make it. I am too cheap to buy retail! Days that I hit just legs have been hard to get lately. I’ve put on some size and thickness from a surplus of cals and increase in Olympic Lifting but it’s hard to see the definition walking around now. I think I’m starting to get that sweep though. 🍗I’m excited to see what’s under there when I cut again.
Sumo deadlifts, narrow stance squats, ohs, Bulgarian split squats, leg presses and leg extensions were on my list today. I also added some unilateral movements because I’ve got some symmetry issues due to a previous ITband issue. And I think I need to retire these pants through my building phase. I didn’t realize that they looked like they were painted on 😳🤦🏻♀️
