Killer weighted tennis ball workout with @evie_depetro . Tennis balls can be used for many things in your training. In this trading the tennis ball and the bucket were used to force the players shoulders down to keep them from lifting when they make their speed stop. Tons of players lift their bodies when they stop to shoot. Players should try to keep their shoulders over their toes until they have to lift for their shot. Good work @evie_depetro

✔The biggest thing when educating someone in my methods, is that i dont teach people to lift weights but to use intelligence and intent to connect with the muscle, total concentration is needed, so much so, that you should not even hear the music in the gym or be distracted by others, very slow controlled movements - QUALITY!! 🔱
✔In the part of the workout, Bruna performed Seated Row 8 reps then Oak Row 8 reps, this was the 2nd part of the superset, the whole workout is outlined below.

❌A1) Kneeling banded squats ( kneeling Good mornings on Smith Machine // 8 reps, rack the bar and perform another 8 reps ( mechanical dropset).

❌A2) Leg Press - Band around knees, feet high/wide - Hamstring/ Glute focus, using downward intention on the eccentric portion of the leg press to engage the Hamstrings, then transferring that tension to the glutes as she drives thru her heels .

❌B1) High incline Dumbell Shoulder press, elbow position at 45* degrees to target Anterior and Medial fibres of the shoulder.

VASJ seniors @wakeemup.jp and @khalil.2019 stopped up to see us after their preseason workouts at their high school and said they wanted to get shots up. 
We started with close/mid range shots using the "30 Shot Drill" - Shoot 15 shots (make or miss) then make 15 shots (only counting the makes)
- You must get to the ball within 2 to 3 steps while the ball is tapped to different spots within a designated area of the court
- As soon as you gather the ball and take your last step you must elevate for your shot

We finished with simple catch and shoot 3s, making 5 from each spot.

Let's start this Monday right with a bit of bench press motivation 😁💪 !!! This right here a new personal record for me on the flat bench press, 145kg 😍😍😍 !!! By the way I weigh 81-82kg at the moment. After this set I dropped the weight down to 130kg and did 5 reps witch is also a personal record because I never did so many reps with that weight after a bunch of heavy sets. I also smashed yet another personal record with 120kg by doing 8 reps and another personal record right after that with 100kg for 10 reps 🎉🎉🎉 !!!
