Whoever thinks they can take my title, they're in for a fucked up night.
I'M SIMPLY THE BEST. I WAKE UP IN THE MORNING AND I PISS EXCELLENCE
Conor didn't willingly climb back down into the cage. He didn't "decide to do the right thing and come back down inside the octagon" as @sonnench puts it. Secerutiy was clearly pulling him back down. And as he was getting pulled back down he saw a member of khabibs team who was trying to climb out of the cage to get to were khabibs was. Who might I add didn't even look like he was aware that he was in close proximity of Conor. It was only when he got punched in the face, by McGregor, that he went on the attack and climbed back into the cage. So for those of you acting like McGregor was just minding his own business then all of a sudden got ambushed by khabibs posse. That's not the case at all. He chose to insert himself into that melee. Once a fight like that breaks out, it is generally understood that any member of the opposing faction who chooses to jump into the fray, is fair game. If he had stayed sitting down he would have never got touched, anyone would have seen and understood that he was clearly too beaten up from the match and left him alone, if he had stayed sitting down. I find it very hard to believe there is anyone on khabibs team who is dishonorable enough that they would try to scuffle with a beaten fighter. Granted that guy in the red coming up behind him was a bit dirty, but, since McGregor hit one of his guys while he wasn't looking then it's only fair he (the guy in red) should be allowed to do the same to McGregor. If he were following the oldest form of justice, which is an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. Then fair play. I'm not tryna excuse his actions. I'm just trying to offer some understanding into his mind frame. But I think his mentality was, if you can cheapshot one of my guys then I can do the same to you.
Side note: But this is all playground mentality. In an adult world they were all out of order.

According to a new study published in the journal Psychology of Sport and Exercise, there's an actual psychological effect that a cheeky grin can have on your performance in the gym, or even when you're competing in a sport.
I don’t grin, I laugh my fucking ass off when a challenge is on my way, they ain’t nothing if you face them off with an unbreakable will. Deadlift 100kg
