Rebecca and John have been doing the long distance thing between Boston and LA for two years, and next spring they get to finally live in the same time zone as husband and wife. How exciting is that?? Our schedules just barely overlapped, me flying in the night before from LA, Rebecca heading back the day after, and I’m so glad it worked out! I hadn’t met either of them before our shoot, but we connected so easily and it felt like we were old friends by the end. Also excited I got some shots on acorn street where you can’t see the other 5 shoots that we’re going on at the same time 😂
Isn’t this little chapel the cutest thing? I saw it when walking around Cullman and had to take a photo. Also: I’m offering mini sessions! 🎉 Join me on Sunday, November 4th at Hays Nature Preserve for your own little session. Perfect for families, couples, branding, and seniors 🌿 message or email me to book one of the 6 spots left (email@example.com)
It is so amazing to be able to witness these moments come together perfectly 💕

Can we just stop and talk about how I LIVE for amazing couples? When I’m feeling stressed or overwhelmed and I head off to a session and then meet incredible people and get gorgeous photos, stress literally melts away. Clients are the lifeblood of small service-based businesses, and I feel SO lucky that I get such wonderful clients from all over the world, like this badass couple from Germany who were so damn cool I could cry. In closing, I’m just thankful for this season and all my amazing clients in 2018. I can’t wait to see what 2019 brings!
Sharing this favorite again because I am soooo excited to have this image featured on not just one, but FOUR of my favorite wedding blogs last month! When I first started getting into photography, never in my wildest dreams did I think my images would be in front of millions of people. Feeling humbled and so grateful. 💛 But let’s be honest, the real MVP here is @bandbdesigns_brandiechisholm, because LOOK AT THIS BOUQUET! 😍😍😍
This is my favorite part of the process of my photography business. Shooting weddings is so special, but getting to edit and then share a story of photos with everyone is my favorite (maybe this explains my ten years in editorial/magazines). With that said, my favorite photos from Chris and Sally’s very special wedding are on my blog. Link is in my bio 😊 Please enjoy this precious photo from their first look

they eloped in Iceland’s moss dusted lava fields with crisp autumn air and an unwavering lust for the life they’ve built together — traditional weddings aren’t for everyone, but having the courage to live your own adventure is something I promise you won’t regret.
Looking back a month ago, a year ago, or even 5 years ago can be a pretty surreal experience, but I feel like it’s always good to remember how far you’ve come and how well you’re actually doing even if it sometimes doesn’t feel like it!
I want to tell you a few huge things I’ve accomplished in the last few years because the more we celebrate the better, and what’s not to love about a little self celebration?! Sometimes we forget just how far we’ve come, so I’m taking a moment to remember all the great accomplishments that I thought would take forever to happen, but happened exactly as they were meant to!
1. Got into one of the best college undergrad programs for architecture in the country! (Okay 6yrs ago...wow, gettin’ old!) 2. 3 years ago I was accepted to study abroad in Rome that ended up changing who I was in a dramatically positive way! (Although I applied for a different program and Rome wasn’t my first choice, it ended up being exactly what I wanted and I wouldn’t have changed a thing. Even though it doesn’t always feel like it the universe totally has your back so just trust!) 3. The next year I got to go back to Europe because of a scholarship I applied for, this time Germany in December! (I can honestly say this is the coldest I have ever been in my life. This California girl barely knows what a coat is 🤷🏼♀️) 4. I got back from Germany and one of the best things that’s ever happened to me caught me off guard. I met the love of my life, I didn’t think I was ready but it turns out it was perfect timing! (I was looking at apartments far away from California at the time but thank goodness we found each other before I left!) 5. Graduated Architecture school in 2017!
Take time to remember how far you’ve come even when it doesn’t feel like you’re moving forward, you are, always remember that!
What are some of your accomplishments you need to remember to celebrate?!
Hi insta-pals! It’s not Friday, but I’m gonna say a little hello 👋🏻 anyway. // I’m Elyn Marie (Courey) Fullen! I’ve been a wedding + lifestyle photographer for about 6 years. I sort of stumbled into this line of work; my degree is in Psychology and I plan to go on to be a social-neuropsych researcher and teacher. I have always had a strange combination of passion for the arts and for math + science, so I am so thankful to have this job as a source of creativity in my life!! // I live in West MI with my husband, Eric. We are anticipating welcoming our first baby girl into our world this coming March and couldn’t be happier about it! We love to travel near and far, always choose brunch over any other meal, and like to walk at the beach and read books together. // When I’m not working, I like to spend my time with my friends + family, knitting, painting, or reading (other nerdy interests include sudoku, grammar, maps, and spreadsheets🤓). I’m obsessed with all things Harry Potter and never get tired of visiting my favorite place on earth- Lake Michigan. I’m a hardcore enneagram 6 and I also think I’m really funny (just ask my niece Winnie, she totally agrees). // Thanks for being along for the ride! Cheers 📸💛
seriously considering a fresh Instagram account that exclusively features wedding shoes and various ways to style them // these #gucci beauties would probably be first #weddingshoes#dancingshoes#bumblebee

to say taylor and timmy are two of my favorite people to be around would be a huge understatement. from the minute we met, i just loved them. thank you guys for letting me be such a special part of your sweet day!!
When Sherin asked for a flower crown she basically said “Don’t make it too big, my fiancé hates flower crowns but I love them. He wants to be able to recognize me on our wedding day”. I think we achieved the happy medium. I still went with the bold statements for the crown but Sherin still looked like her beautiful self. And judging how Brian looks in this photo, I think he was happy with the result too.
“Covered in gold. Forgetting my skin. I recall you. I recall when.” Penny & Sparrow /
hi, aren’t they pretty?! Isn’t the light crazy beautiful? They sure do love each other. I’m just here to show their lovin’ to you guys. 🌙✨
What’s your best dad joke? Shoot your best shot below. I freaking love dad jokes. I usually drop a couple at every shoot just to get some unique reactions. My ideal couple simultaneously laughs, rolls their eyes, and then comes back at me with an even better one. 😏🙌🏼
I have five roommates— all girls, all beautiful, all crazy in their own way; and let it be known that sometimes they know me better than I know myself. Men, you might feel like a girl keeps tabs on you, but it is NOTHING compared to the tabs she keeps on her best friends 😂
