Do you see this smile? This is the smile of a girl who is discovering that she is capable of doing anything she puts her mind to. Someone who made a commitment to herself and kept it. When we first moved here, Greenly couldn’t climb a foot off of the ground. She wanted to be as high as her friends were in the trees, but she didn’t have the practice yet. She was really hard on herself, and frankly, gave up too easily. It didn’t stop at climbing trees either. She was very upset when she couldn’t run as fast, win a game, draw as well or do a cartwheel like everyone else. At one point, she even referred to herself as a “sore loser” while proclaiming she “couldn’t do anything right”. 😩 We make sure to encourage both of our girls to not give up on what they want and to keep practicing. So even though she was still down on herself at times, she did keep trying all of these things. And now look at her in that tree, so proud of herself and what she’s accomplished! She got up and down all by herself over and over. On top of that, today she accomplished something else...she swam in the ocean without a floaty, using only her goggles to dive down and look for shells. It’s been an amazing week for her! I’m glad she didn’t give up on herself. I’m glad she knows what she wants and goes after it, and I hope she always remembers this confidence that she is building in herself today. Of course, both of my girls are growing into amazing little ladies, but I just felt the need to share about Greenly today because she’s been having such a hard time lately being the youngest in her group of friends. Roselyn has been an awesome big sister by showing Greenly how to perfect her cartwheel and drawing skills. What are sisters for? Look out, world! 🌎
l wanted to share some GORGEOUS backyard photos Iv come across in my zillow searches from some of my 'saved homes'. Please excuse the mediocre pictures taken off my computer screen. >That first (3 pics) house tho!!!😱😍🌿
Having a home with a beautiful outdoor space is TOP priority to me!
In my browsing on zillow (not buying yet, but ALWAYS looking) , I immediately scroll through to the back yard photos before even looking at the interior. .
I envision the most magical backyard space, with ample areas to hang out. Buried amongst trees and string lights all around.
Being a renter is very restricting on this regard.
Our last CA home in Carlsbad, (before we moved to CO) had the most amazing patio. (well, considering the rental market in CA anyway) I went all in and fully decked it out, and it was beautiful! But then I moved six months later and pretty much wasted all the money I put into that project. The woman that rented the condo actually bought my patio setup, which worked out great!....but for far less then the amount of money, time and energy Id put into it of corse.
I learned that I didn't want to go quite that far again, until I was a homeowner. .
Anyways, just wanted to share that I am over here ~dreaming away~, until the day where I can execute my master plan for the most magical, inspiring, outdoor space that's MINE , oh mine!!!🧚🏼♀️🌿🙌🏽🧚🏻♂️

Happiness is an interesting thing.
Most people base their happiness on what “happens” to them.
This leaves people consistently in a reactive mindset instead of an empowered mindset.
Your happiness shouldn’t be dictated based on what happens to you or around you. -
Happiness is a choice that you make everyday in the midst of the challenges, good things, heart break, and struggle.
You have the power to maintain happiness even when life gets hard.
Walk in that power and inspire others with your commitment to be joyful.
(Thank you for sharing this Jared) 😊
Different perspectives from the British pavilion @labiennale The architects have left the inside of the pavilion as is; there are marks on the walls from previous occupants, but there is no exhibition. Instead you can either climb a scaffold staircase or take the lift (for those whose limbs are weary, the best option) to an entirely new space on the roof. The platform is open to the gloriously blue skies and sits among the trees. The pattern on the floor is vaguely reminiscent of an Italian piazza. At 4pm every afternoon (weather permitting), tea is served. We left for something a little stronger and fizzier #giardini#newheights#inthetrees#marcustaylor#carusostjohnarchitects#architecture#biennalearchitettura2018
Breakfast is served...in Park City, UT ⛰————————————————————————
Buckwheat and almond flour waffles with fresh berries and soft whip organic heavy cream with Wild Orange oil. Yay for a waffle iron where we are staying. And a gorgeous Mountain View. I wasn’t looking forward to this trip because of multiple reasons. But God knows what we need. And this is it 🙏🏻 #breakfastwithaview#traveltowork#continuinged#healthcoachlife#parkcityutah
That time I got to sleep in a treehouse and sway in the wind and experience all the nature. I’ll always remember watching up close the swarms of hummingbirds here and being astonished and delighted by their lighthearted playful energy 🙏🌲 ❤️ #benatural#summerinreview#onthewater#inthetrees#lopezisland
