▪️ LIVING ROOM ▪️
It’s been a while since I shared a shot of our lounge, mostly because it’s not normally this tidy 😂 one of the plus sides of a full day at nursery is that our living room isn’t turned into a chaotic playroom littered with toys 💁🏽♀️ don’t get me wrong, there is plenty of plastic crap hidden out of shot, but for the most part it’s nice and tidy. We’ve also got the amazing ikea toy kitchen set up on another wall, which I’m currently “pinteresting” ideas for.
For those that have followed me for a while, you may notice that I’ve had a little room update here and swapped out my copper lanterns/ frames for black ones. Frank had taken to trying to bash the lanterns and I was a bit worried about him smashing them and hurting himself, and I decided that if I was going to be changing those, I would match the frames as well 🤷🏽♀️ I’m loving the monochrome against the Hague blue 👌🏽
Absolutely cream crackered. Do you know that feeling when the house is mid massive renovation and you just don't want to go home to face the mess? That was me today but have so much that we need to do. Still more paper needs removing and decisions that we thought we already made about the paint colours need rethinking! All in the process isn't it! Can't wait for it to be done. In the meantime I'm locking myself in here till it's all over. Send help!
Thought I better give you an update on the garden! Most of the fence is in, that HUGE mound of mud has been sieved and the good stuff has been used to start flattening the ground! All the rubbish and crap found has filled a huge skip today!
In love with this photo by National Geographic photographer Erika Larsen. Her series “People of the Horse” featured in issue 4 showcases her dreamy travels across America to learn about the significance of the horse in Native American culture.
