Today's ideation carries with it a little story about the oftentimes overwhelming abundance of "choice".
Yesterday I spent the day with some of my "specials". One of the activities we partook in was candle dipping. A white candle is chosen, and a choice from six colours to dip into is then made. I stood back and observed how difficult the decision suddenly became for those about to make their choices. What will it look like in combination, what if it's not how I imagine it'll be, how do I dip...... After much vascillation the plunge was taken and on the whole I think everyone was delighted with the results.
The evolution of an IDEA always starts somewhere and then moves through a cycle of adjustments towards a final pleasing outcome.
My take away is that no singular option is ever "the right one", more the one that is most appealing to the beholder.
Part of my purpose as an #interiordesigner is to play with the multicombos and offer narrowed down options to clients and to give them time to contemplate their choices.
This ideation was created, with thanks, using fabrics and floor rug from #hertex#hertexfabrics#hertexhaus .
