Walking back from the National Museum of Modern Art in Tokyo. The water was like glass & I had to get a pic of these buildings and sky reflecting perfectly in it. The museum itself was a great and much needed period of quiet compared to the rest of my trip 💯✅ When you’re taking each night to it’s limit in the crazy lights and spectacle of Tokyo it’s nice to take a break and go into a quiet room filled with art and reflect, right? That being said, you know where I went directly after this? -> My bar-hopping excursion of course 😂 Everything in moderation, including moderation. ✅✅✅
Today my book got another #1 Best Seller banner AND it is positioned ahead of Rick Steves!!!
To be fair, he has other books ahead of mine but it is exciting to be beating one of his. Even if it was a book about his grandmother’s knitting I would be happy!

Seriously though, it's mid October but the scenery looks like mid summer?! If it weren't for the nights at -10°, I'd have been fooled. .
Well hi there #Hobart - it’s been a long while between visits. You’ve grown up a bit in the last 15 years! This is the view from our very pleasing room at @macq01 , and across there somewhere is our dinner destination. So much to love here right now. 😍

I love how Tokyo comes alive at night. 🌙 🎥 Swipe left to walk through these awesome alleyways filled with the coolest secluded places to eat and drink! 🎥 This was taken during an excellent bar hopping excursion through Shinjuku & Shibuya. Seemingly everywhere you turn in the city there are bright lights and reds and greens that contrast the dark, and this doesn’t change even in these alleyways filled with bustling business. The next time I visit Tokyo I’m really wanting to check more of these places out. Some only have room for maybe 6 or 7 people. In the couple spots I got to experience, the food was delicious and the beer went down smooth! I had so much fun with a great group of people on this night. Missing Tokyo every day!
