Today, as we know it, art is everywhere. It creates a pleasant atmosphere and an opportunity to learn. I love street art, but I also love sculptures and paintings. As a child, My family never introduced me to the world of art, like visiting art galleries, museums, etc. In school, we participated in art activities because it's required, but not as something that ought to be encouraged or appreciated.
Art fosters creative thinking, relieves stress, boost our self-esteem, and it gives us a sense of accomplishment, satisfaction. If you haven't, introduce your kids to art.
On a different note, take a look at these amazing sculptures by @nickcaveart . The artist uses historical objects with a contemporary dialogue on gun violence and death, inflicted both by and within the black community. Yet, he demonstrates, with those dismembered body parts and metal flowers, that there is a potential of new growth.
I encourage you to go and see it. "Nick Cave: If a Tree Falls" will be on exhibit at @jackshainman until December 22. 👍❤️
