One of my personal favorite emotions is to be PENSIVE. I took that time often as a teenager as an avid journaler. My pensive moments lately are typically spent while running, and it would probably be good for me to take other time to reflect in a quiet space like he is.
I really wanted to try an oil version of one of my watercolours to see if it felt the same way doing it. Nope it didn't. It's serious stuff if that makes sense compared to the freedom of watercolours. They feel world's apart doing them but I love both processes just as much.

This week we’ll be highlighting the different Spooky Girls covers/characters! Meet Jenny the Werecat drawn by @taylorkrulicki. Jenny’s story is a hilarious and heartwarming romp through Halloween night. Jenny is... well, you saw the title -- she's a werecat! She's very much aware of her condition, which allows her to speak with other cats (who love her) and other nocturnal animals (who love her a lot less). Jenny runs a Cat Café, and finds herself at odds with a scrappy homeless werecat who keeps stealing cans of wet food. The war of the werecats is on! SPOOKY GIRLS Kickstarter link in Bio to find out how the war ends!
