Before there was Let’s Go, Pikachu! Before there was Detective Pikachu... there was Hey You, Pikachu! Released 20 years ago today it was one of only two games to utilize the N64's Voice Recognition Unit.
So, I was lucky enough to get access to the Anthem Alpha. Obviously a lot of what I've seen I can't share but what I can say is we've been promised a lot! Will the promises of no chargeable DLC carry through? The no "pay to win" philosophy attracted me to this game instantly, but with @ea in the mix, it's hard to have no doubts about this in the future. I've wanted for so long (like every other RPG Loot fan) to have a game where you could simply play a game, get loot and access the full story without content hidden behind paywalls. @destinythegame came close, oh so close. It's hard to justify paying money for content that generates a few more hours of story content and loot drops hidden behind random function and the silver, c'mon guardians that's a joke! Anthem has promised time and time again the only microtransactions will be for cosmetic purposes! @biowarebase are new to the RPG Loot world, so from what I've seen, they've come fairly close to filling the void left by Destiny (see what I did there). I'm not saying I don't like playing Destiny anymore because I do, I just haven't bothered with the latest DLCs because, well, same sh1t, different day. I've not yet had the pleasure of having my question answered by @anthemgame developers and producers on how much of a guarantee they can place on the no chargeable extra game content. Only on the promise that they've said they're against pay-to-win and against what @bungie has done with destiny. Let the competition begin. Are you a Javelin or a Guardian? Let me know below✌️
