Found myself in a rather compromising position in the last WOD 😲😲😲

A principio de año me animé a probar crossfit para estar en forma y practicar algo de deporte,no era capaz de hacer una dominada,ni de realizar muchos de los ejercicios pero seguí practicando,11 meses después y a punto de quitarme la L de la espalda, he de decir q he avanzado bastante,aún q aun me quedan muchos ejercicios por perfeccionar y muchos retos x conseguir,realizo dominadas,snach,sentadillas,y todo tipo de ejercicios,mejorando y levantando cada vez más peso,y cada día con más ganas de mejorar y de superarme a mi mismo,todo gracias a los monitores y a los compañeros de box sin los cuales no sería posible.

The last time i did this workout about 3 yrs ago , i only managed 5 minutes with 60kg then had to drop the weight to 50kg and still only managed another 5 minutes before having to stop
because of that my expectations were'nt to high going into this one, so i just wanted to beat 5 min at 60kg , and then drop to 50kg if i needed to for around another 10 minutes
I managed to keep it going today for 20 min at 60kg so im really happy with that, i dont really feel any stronger or fitter but its not until try an old workout that you've not done for a while that you can see how much you've improved , so the key is just to "KEEP GRINDIN" and stick at it
I did have a lamb balti with rice, chips , naan bread....... and chocolate last night, that possibly gave me an extra boost

This time last week I went for my first proper run after #worldstoughestmudder due to an injury to my ankle had been causing me issues and keeping me off the trails. It was just what I needed to blow the cobwebs away and get the legs moving again. It was also great to be out there with the gang from @runfitexpo @jofennaruns and Dennis who showed me around the amazing hills and trails of #parboldhill
The great news is that my ankle is mended with no issues but the bad news was that 8.5 good miles of trail kicked of the #plantarfasciitis again
Some people would be really fed up with this as it has stopped me running since but you have to take the positive out of it!! 1) it is the same foot as my ankle issue so it is possibly connected, so get the plantar sorted and I’m sure ankle will be ok.
2) I ran the 8 tough miles with no issues so I know my body is still in good shape
3) it is giving me time to build my upper body, knee , glutes and hamstrings which were my weak points
4) I have a great team around me with supportive family @jojojones_runs and a brilliant sports physio in @philrentonpt at @evofitpro who can help you all if you message him
5) it is giving me plenty of time to research all the good races to do this year and boy have I got a hectic year with plenty of top races and long miles planned!
So whats my aim? I have a session with Phil tomorrow and will take his advice but I am hopeful of a short trail run this time next week to start rebuilding slowly ready for my first race in January. 🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️

The best bunch of Humans I ever did see 💖 Gridlock 2018 was a FANTASTIC Event and it’s all down to this crew here 👀. Comps are not just what you see on the day.
