On Septmeber the 15th we had our third edition of our business affairs meeting. In this edition we learned more about the roles and responsibilities in Rotary. Afterwards the Vice President of JCI Nilom, Ruiz Kartoredjo, also held a 'Setting Goals' presentation to improve the integrity, expertise and commitment of service amongst our fellows. It was a very fruitful and interactive meeting and we can't wait for the next edition!
Happy #monday ♥️ Do not seek the answers. You do not need to know what happens next, you do not require a step by step account on how your #life is going to turn out. think about the moments that stopped time ⏳. They were unwarranted and unexpected. They surprised you for no reason 😀. Think about all the unexpected #beauty you stumbled upon while you were simply #living , while you were simply making it up as you went along. *
Choose that over answers. You do not need to 'get it right' every time. Life doesn't end, the lessons, opportunities, experiences continue to flow 🏞️. We remain life's student now matter what 🤓
Sit with the uncertainty, surrender to that scratchy discomfort 😣. By doing so, you give yourself the #freedom to make mistakes, to start again, to discover how you want to exist. *
I am thrilled to announce that the film I worked on in Montana last Fall, BLACK FLOWERS, will premiere in competition at the Sitges International Film Festival in Spain on October 7th.
This post-apocalyptic thriller was a blast to work on and will be even more fun to watch! The director, @captmart, was delightful to work for and his cast was amazing including @kristademille @andreasweeneyblanco @actresschristinaderosa @jesuslloveras and @therealronrogge.
I don’t want to spoil anything by releasing information about my character, just know it was intense and FUN!
Sharing life moments with my little best friend, Valentina 😍💕💖
My Sophia was ALWAYS with me when she was a baby all the way up through 5 th grade.. she’d go with me to work, she was my assistant coach many times, she was at breakfast dates with my tribe and I, she was literally part of my crew and I loved it, I also appreciated my friends and clients welcoming her and loving her so much. Sophia grew up among many women not just me. And now Sophia is grown and Ms Independent which is completely normal and healthy. AND now I get to have a little best friend whose mommy allows me to be a part of her life and share all the new wonders she is experiencing. My heart is full. Life is full circle my friends, you receive what you give. Thank you Karina, love you and your girls.. and Nick too haha. ✨❤️✨
And thank you @lillian5124 @firegirl897 , Jodi, Corey, Diana and all my clients for loving my Sophia and being a part of her life. 💖
Happy birthday to my beautiful, thoughtful, kind, intelligent, creative and generous daughter, Tswana Niambi Sewell @tswana302 .She is truly an angel and a blessing to all. Last Monday she danced at the foot of mom's hospital bed singing "living my best life" and her grandmother danced along with her wiggling her feet and waving "her hands in the air like she just don't care." The image of those two and that joyful moment will be burned in my memory forever.
Tswana's birthday is typically a "national holiday" for her but today's celebration will be a tad bit subdued. Just a tad bit though, because her joyous spirit will fill the room and raise the roof as we celebrate as a family.
I’d rather be sitting on my bike thinking about God than sitting in church thinking about my bike.
There is nothing else in the world that clears my mind and makes me feel the presence of God more than the isolation, focus and zen that comes from riding on two wheels.
Sometimes, I just gotta..... Breath
Shake & Let it go. •
Resentful feelings that arise from projections and judgements of another •
The attachment to “my plan” and how things are supposed to go •
The constant replay of past experiences in my head that no longer serve me •
Expectations. Of myself and the world around me. •
The non-serving story I hold onto around a certain event or idea. •
Let it All Go 🌪
Throw your trust arms out and trust that it will be okay.
Remember that most our suffering is created in our own mind 🤯

Our morning began with a #walkthroughthewoods and ended here inside the #rockwoodmusem with it's #opulent and original #furnishings . Years ago I would bring my #mentee or a #coaching client here. We would get tea and a croissant from the cafe and have our conversations in one of the intimate and beautifully recreated #20thcentury living spaces with floral covered walls and nicely appointed #hearths . What a lovely setting that was. Today the cafe is no longer there and the living spaces have been replaced with a variety of exhibits. We plan to take the tour soon where costumed guides share tales of the Bringhursts' family #wealthylifestyle , ancestors and servants. Swipe left to see servants quarters and join our walk through the woods. # staycation --
Less than 5 minutes from our home Rockwood #mansion and #museum was built in 1851 as the retirement #estate of Wilmington native Joseph Shipley, a wealthy Quaker merchant. Its Gothic Revival architecture and enchanting landscape were designed to reflect the beauty of an English country estate. The museum reflects the Bringhurst family, descendants of Shipley, upper-crust family life during the turn of the 20th century. Family members lived here until 1972. Swipe left to see and learn more.
