I was nervous about today's workout because I hadn't done it in a long time and I was intimidated. I forgot how much this #twinmom loves this one and yes it completely kicked my ass! 12 rounds of MMA and kickboxing moves that are 1 minute long with 30 seconds spike in between and you do that for 3 minutes. Focus on mastering the habits and skills you want instead of focusing on achievement goals.
As you start your day, read to yourself the ingredients of a habit...in order for change to happen, you must ACT on these ingredients.
3. Physical Expression aka Body Language
Notice what you are focusing on. Are you focusing on what you do want? Or do you focus on the shit you don't want? #whatyoufocusonyoufind
What about your self-talk...are you being your own cheerleader or putting yourself down? Remember the mind knows no difference between reality and make believe. If you tell yourself you aren't good enough...your mind will listen. So wake up and tell yourself...
"I am F***** Wonder Woman!!" Or Batman 😉
And as Ursela from the Little Mermaid says..."Never underestimate the power of body language." This one is so important...remember to walk like the badass you are and if that means you have to walk like you have your own invisible plane and lasso...do it!!! #imaagingmyself 😂

My last LIIFT4 workout of 2018! FULL Body HIIT!
6 moves split over three rounds and combined at the end. What you see in the first video: all 6 moves in 3 minutes at 4x speed.
Yes there are modifications, but my muscles seriously got burned out. That’s why it’s called a burnout. Modifications just work the same muscles in a slightly different position. Still worked as hard as I could. The best part is that it will never get easier, I just get stronger!
And just like every LIIFT4 workout, this one still finished with core! Instead of 2 exercises, this one finishes with 3. (At 3x speed)

Or when you start a project and you allow yourself to skip steps and let quality go out the door, you are focused on an outcome that will not last if you don't build on a foundation made of quality.

Day 1 done🙌
Today I started my first Shaun T program! I maxed out pretty quickly but I made it thru! And feel amazing!!!!! Since I started working out I have been afraid of his programs because let’s face that dude is a savage and it’s cardio(my least favorite) but he is coming out with a new 20 minute program in a week and my friend Maria who just had knee surgery less than a month ago is getting ready for his new program and doing amazing! So if she can do it with having knee surgery less than a month ago I could for sure do it and so can you!!!!! That’s the thing working out is tough and when the program is challenging it even tougher but we don’t have to do this alone! I have a ton of people who are doing this right along with me and hold me accountable! So if you ready to get started we’re ready to do this right along with you 💖

I desperately needed my 30 min sweat sesh this tomorrow! I woke feeling a little foggy and slow. Now, in the past those feelings would set the pace of my day. I would allow myself to sit in them and drag my feet, making it a very unproductive day! .
Flip the coin! 💱
Today, I use my workouts to fuel my body and mind and ignite my fire and mind shift needed to rock the shit out of my day. .
It definitely wasn't easy getting into a consistent routine. It took adjustments, I hit speed bumps and I've wanted to throw in the towel in many times. But my journey has proven that moving my body everyday does way more than help me achieve my physical goals. It is my daily therapy, it keeps my mental state stable and strong and allows me to stay in control of my mind and my thoughts! .
Winning the day with daily movement! .

On the eve of Thanksgiving here in the US, you may need a gentle reminder of how to communicate with love.
When you get together with your family tomorrow remember that everyone has a different perspective, a different set of personal values and will have different reactions based on their own fears, anxieties, and experiences.
No matter how "right" you are or how much sense you make you will not change anyone's mind over turkey dinner.
So instead, focus on the things you have in common, enjoying your time together and loving them for who they are and in turn, they may be able to do the same for you.

I used to never have time to workout on a daily basis. I’d run out the door to work, feeling like I was always cheating myself. A few months ago, I made a decision that changed that...an easy decision that anyone can make.
Today, I don’t have to rush to get a workout in after work...I am able to focus on all of me every day and I’m so incredibly grateful for that - ESPECIALLY in the holiday season.
Tis the season to focus on making myself merry and bright and helping others be filled with the joy of being merry and bright as well! There is never a wrong time to focus on yourself, if the time is now, I PROMISE, your future self will thank you later 💗
Ever have them days where you just don’t feel like doing something? Today was one of those days for me! I really didn’t feel like working out today!And I was telling myself all the excuses why I didn’t have too! Like I didn’t have to because I’m so busy with getting ready for thanksgiving, or since the hubby doesn’t feel like it tonight I don’t have to either, or I’m just plain tired 💤
But then I remember why I started in the first place! To start taking care of me🙋🏻♀️ I let excuses hold me up long enough!!! So I’m not to busy or tired to take 30 minutes for myself.....And I don’t need my hubs to do this with me! I want him too but don’t need him too.... So I got to it and got it done🙌 I let the inner badass in me come out and shut them excuses up👊 So stop telling yourself you can’t do something or using excuses because you have that inner badass too that is way bigger than the excuses you tell yourself why you can’t do something 💖
