The bada crowd at the Joshi dahi bada house. This place was highly recommended to us with statements as far as " if you go to Indore and don't taste Joshi dahi bada then you might as well drop dead" So obviously we were disappointed (and scared for our lives) when after pushing and elbowing our way through we found it closed :( reaching in front of this shop was no easy deal, the crowd moving towards it consists of people who have been fasting for a decade and whose only chance at staying alive is stuffing themselves with this dahi bada. On enquiring we were told the shop was out of all its ingredients after the attack of the hungry zombies and hence shut an hour before usual. We consoled each other with the fact that we had one more night at Indore. The next day as we temple hopped at Ujjain, we must be the only ones not praying for joy, success, love or wealth; we prayed with an unmatched fervor for the milan of our tongues with Joshi dahi bada. That night we were one of the early customers and once the dish was in our hands we looked reverently and lovingly at it akin to how new parents would look at their baby born after several prayers ( ya that's how kids are born in India). My navra oohed and aahed whilst eating it with tears of joy in his eyes but I just didn't understand what the hoopla was all about. It tasted almost like our dahi wada and I found the actual wadas to be a lil too soft. But that's my opinion, as for the general opinion the shop was overflowing till it shut
