Artinya apa, hayooo???

Right in the heart of Musi River, lies the beautiful Kamaro Island. The
main attraction of the island is a beautiful Hok Cing Bio temple. This
complex is so serene and quiet. However, when the Cap Go Meh or during
the Chinese New Year, this will be the busiest place in all Palembang.
Some famous landmarks within the Hok Cing Bio complex is their 9th
floor pagoda, their love tree, and the inscription stone that shares the
love story of Tan Bun An and Siti Fatimah. You can reach the Kamaro
island via the Ampera Bridge (6.5 km) or the Kalidoni port (500 m) via

Nature has a way of healing itself, and this is what happened to the Blue
Lake of Sawahlunto. It used to be a coal-mining city, so there are lots of
excavation sites. Eventually, when the mining stops, the hole started to fill
up with water, and that is the story of the blue lake. What’s fascinating
about it is its hypnotizing blue color from the water reflections. As the
Sawahlunto area pushes to promote the blue lake, new attractions started
to come. Such as the Fort de Kock or the Japanese hole that has a
historical experience to it. Or the loyalty monument for the couples that
want to proclaim their love.

There is no bridge like the Ampera that plays such historical part in
Indonesia. It was built because Soekarno wanted a bridge that can match
the Tower Bridge in London. It was named The Bung Karno Bridge when
it was launched in 1965. But they change it into the Ampera bridge
following his fall. The bridge even changes color three times: grey into
yellow in 1992, and red in 2002. This signifies the main political party at
that time. This iconic bridge crosses the Musi River in Palembang. To
reach it you have to take an hour flight from Jakarta to Palembang.
