・ ‘Lost Cushion’ is a collaboration between Tokyo artists Takeyuki Hakozaki (aka Pollypraha) and Chris Nelson (aka Nelson Schmelson). Hakozaki began the project with the desire to combine the experimental sound of his Pollypraha work with the melodic voice of Nelson, his longtime friend.
One half of the conceptual disco/boogie style-parodists ‘Halcyon Tone’, Nelson approaches both lyrics and vocals using a variety of eclectic styles and techniques. This, together with Hakozaki’s unconventional and beautiful compositions, make up the primary ingredients of ‘Lost Cushion.’ ‘Lost Cushion’ records out of Signflax Studio by the ocean in Chiba, near Tokyo.

“You been rollin' around, shit I'm rollin' up
Light and roll it up
Break it down, like a pound, shit was never us
Shit was never us”
[Dedicata: chi ha bisogno di salvarsi]
somehow in following people/gaining followers on this account, i managed to find a bunch of mean girls accounts who love barrett and also love Marina and the diamonds who just so happens to be my absolutely favorite artist. like my NUMBER ONE. I don’t relate to anyone more than her. like she is my queen. so i just find it a weird coincidence that people who love Barrett tend to also kind of like Marina? idk bc both are so different but i definitely was not expecting that and am NOT COMPLAINING. If you love Marina as well comment a 🍐 emoji.
Few songs make me feel as much as "Agnes". It's undoubtedly the most beautiful song Glass Animals have come up with. The very first line, "Agnes just stop and think a minute/why won't you light that cigarette and" just pulls you in to the singers story. It's such a powerful song about love, loss, and addiction. You can really hear the raw unfiltered emotion behind Bayleys throughout his reserved but painful delivery in the verses, and when the chorus comes through this immense cacophonic overload just sends the song onto another plane. The overwhelming feeling of loss is captured perfectly throughout this gem of a song.
"You're gone but you're on my mind/I'm lost but I don't know why"
A version of the song "When I Lose Control" by G. Gens
