📍Jaipur, India // Tour the walled city of Jaipur on foot, commencing your walk through the historic streets of the old city experiencing the glory of the yesteryears.
In the north west of Anshupa lake lies the remnants of an old dynasty which once ruled major parts of Odisha. The keshary dynasty build a fort surrounding the lake ,and archaeologists believe that it belongs to 10 th century A.D.Now only a well and a closed ammunition cell are the remains of the lost history which is now maintained by OTDC ecotourism. The OTDC Eco tourism has also built bamboo cottages in the park on this hill which provides accomodation to the natural lovers travelling here.Inside the park a watchtower at the extreme end of the walls of the remnants of the fort provides a panoramic view of the Mahanadi basin ,Anshupa lake and the surrounding Banki town.Much of the Saranda hill is still unexplored and who knows many such remnants of a lost civilisation can be discovered. The road from cuttack till the hill top is pretty smooth which runs through the state highway connecting Athgarh forest . As Athgarh forest is on the other side of this hill,so elephant crossings are sometimes visible in these parts of Odisha. If one is lucky they may see herds of elephants coming down from the forest in search of rice grains in winters ,in the villages situated on the banks of Mahanadi. This part of Odisha provides complete satisfaction for nature lovers and bird watchers in the form of Anshupa lake ,while the hisotorians may find the Saranda hill more interesting. #instalike #picoftheday #photooftheday #instagrammer #instatravel #instagood #travelblogger #odishaclicks #odishatourism #indiatourism #indiandestinations #indiagram #travelbloggerlife #lonelyplanetindia #natgeotravellerindia #sarandahills #anshupalake #ecotourism #naturephotography #nature #destiniumworld #travelindia #incredibleindia #indiagram #follow4follow #follow4like
