Breathtaking. No matter how many times I look at a sunset, every time, it’s beauty catches me by surprise! And this gorgeous view is one I now have the pleasure of enjoying from my balcony! I’m one lucky gal! 😍 I love how all the rattle and noise in my head (who doesn’t have noises in their head, ha?🤔) just goes quiet when I watch the sun setting and the night throwing its veil over our side of the planet. I’ve recently moved to Devon, where sunsets like are going to be in my life 😍 together with breathtaking views and beaches! Soon I will be sharing on my blog about the move to Devon, and leaving London after 10 years in one of the best cities on earth!
"Don't downgrade your dream just to fit your reality. Upgrade your conviction to match your destiny" Unknown
It's true. You have complete control over the path you are on. What you can't control are the obstacles that land in front of you. How you conquer them however, is entirely up to you. When I was about seventeen I learned that I had a birth defect in both knees. I've had almost two dozen surgeries to correct it and have learned how to walk way too many times. My knee caps are gone. Why do I share this? Well, there was no way for me to know how this would unfold. But it was my reality. It taught me to wrap my arms around challenges, own them, conquer them, and move on. It never defined me. I can't say it didn't change the course of my path because it was my path.
Anyway, this image was taken at Laguna Beach in March. I remember standing there looking at the sky and just feeling totally alive. The sick colors enhanced that of course but I felt grateful... for the road I have traveled, for all the crazy twists and turns and for the strength to embrace it and ultimately kick things up a notch.
