Another day, another listen.
Much more than meets the eye in our roles as performance/strength and conditioning professionals as service providers to our athletes and sport coaches.
Once again, not here to simply train athletes. Our role in service extends far beyond the weight room if we understand and take care of the intricacies of the human first, athlete second.
Take care of your people, open the door and, rather lens, through which you see your role in high performance and what exactly that means to YOU.
•MOTIVATION / WHY•

I am often hesitant of posting photos of myself on here, as I frequently will hate a picture of myself soon after it has been taken. It takes a bit of time before I can look at that picture again and see it in a totally different light. I recently discussed this with another person who also has body dysmorphia and shares this same experience. It’s something I am excited to keep working at improving going into 2019. So here’s 3 photos I was previously unwilling to post earlier this year.
It takes a level of self love ,of dedication and determination to live your greatest life.
So, look within. Look at every area of your life and ask yourself these questions: Am I on course ? Am I growing mentally, emotionally and spiritually? Anything that is blocking that, anything that is preventing you from living your greatest life, make the tough decision to let it go.

Ok guys so this post has multiple meanings. First to show you that when you really buckle down to specifics anything is possible even when you live half your life on the road like me and my main man @donniebeckwith_fit do. So stooooop with the BS excuses about traveling I REFUSE to hear your excuses. Be diligent to your plan and have respect for yourself and your goals period. Second to give a huuuuuge shout out for 14 Strong Nutrition client and one of my personal best friends Donnie Beckwith for killing the game and always working harder than he did the day before. Third to throw a giant Happy Birthday to this monster and wish him the absolute best day! Make your way over to my boys Page and show him some love! Happy B day Homie 🤙🏽

Today is the last day for Post Graduate Students, Victor Vargas and Jaime Martinez. Victor and Jaime have spent a year training at the academy to prepare themselves for collegiate golf. Victor will be attending Asbury University in January, and Jamie is in the process of making college arrangements. We wish you both the best of luck in the future and have thoroughly enjoyed the time that you have shared with us at the academy.
Professional footballer and client Jack Hobbs working on building his core strength with this elbow to knee crunch variation. A great way to test the main abdominals as well as the obliques down the side of the body and the lower back 💪🏻⚽️
Whoo hoo!! Made the 100 Days. I had to slow down due to injury over the last couple of weeks. But I’ve learned a lot and changed many habits. Just hope my noisey neighbours stop partying all night so I can get a good sleep every night for ultimate performance during the days 😃🙌🏻
Day 22 of 40 Days of Regeneration leads us to restoring ourselves through cold immersion. Charlie Deist, a seasteader and sailing enthusiast, who will be joining #SwimToRegenerate on January 1st, writes about The Iceman (Wim Hof) in his latest Medium post: 'The Way of the Iceman... teaches a method of cold exposure training that allows a person to control their response to the cold and elevate their body temperature through intense focus and breathing. The book starts with a definition of the word “torpor.” Torpor is the affluence-induced sluggishness and complacency that so many suffer from due to the evolutionary mismatch between our modern lives and the much more active lifestyles of our ancestors.' For the last 20 days of this initiation, cold showers are encouraged. 'The comfort and safety of modern life has also made us sicker. To solve the crisis of sedentarism, we must tap into our bodies’ evolutionary genius. The field of epigenetics teaches us that we can awaken ancient genetic codes “written” to help our much more resilient ancestors survive in an unimaginably hostile world.' Even if you cannot swim with us January 1st, join us in opening up to your full potential through breathwork and cold immersion. As we regenerate ourselves, then the idea of ecosystem restoration becomes easy. Together we can.
