The WRX, acronym for World Rally Experimental, was developed back in the 90s by the Prodrive racing team and Subaru, and in my opinion is one of the best car formulas ever created. The stiffened chassis not only provides next to no body roll, but the 50/50 torque split in the AWD system provides the corner entry of RWD, and the corner exit pull of FWD, both on and off road. This is one of the reasons why AWD has gotten so popular in rally, because it has the strengths of both FWD and RWD in one car.
The 2.0 Boxer motor in this car loves high rpms while also delivering decent mileage, and although the turbo doesn’t hit full boost till fairly high in the rev range, it definitely kicks in down low, as well as making fun turbo noises. The only downfall with this car is the notoriously fragile 5 speed manual.
Alright, Corvette jokes aside, what do you guys think of the "C4 Impreza?" 😂 And yes, I know someone just put some donut painted C4 vette wheels on a blobeye, but I've wanted to put some Rotiform CCV's on this thing for a long time.
