For the past week I’ve been just doing legs/ass and cardio (and yes im one of those people who believe leg days and glute days are indeed different...)
After my cardio I decided to see what I could do if anything.
Biceps are a go! ✅
Shoulders are a go however they are light ✅
Triceps are a go light . ✅ But no dips ❌
Abs are slightly all over the place. Leg raises on the ground ✅
Hanging leg raises or knee crunches ❌
V ups are mediocre with no weight
Russian twists no weight. As soon as I tried to twist holding anything it was tough
Plank was surprisingly a go ✅
Assisted Pull up...let’s just say if you were a bystander you would’ve been amused. I barely had enough strength to go down let alone back up. That is not happening. Which is sad. I could do unassisted before 7-10 ❌😔
Push-up...1... it was mediocre at best. ❌
On my knees I could muster 10. There was a time when I did a push-up challenge in 7 weeks and made it to 66 without stopping. I wonder if I’ll be ever be able to do that again.
Well boobs... you’re nice and I love you...but you are making me really slow and steady. There is lots of work to be done post vacation and post surgery. I feel like my arms shrunk and my stomach got bigger. And the boobs... well they DID get bigger but they don’t count in the muscle world. Good thing there is no finish line in body building. Just a continuous journey.
Slowly trying to get my life together. Haven’t quite figured out how to work my gym time in with my busy school schedule yet. So much studying to do all the time! It’s so discouraging that I’m not as strong as I used to be. I clearly need to get my shit together.
Major throwback. Wow, I’m highly upset with myself most days because I strayed so far away from this. I was eating so much more healthier, had more energy, and was a lot happier because I was eating healthier and staying up to date with my workouts. I unfortunately let a lot of negative things in life take over and I ended up eating like garbage for months, missing workouts, not drinking enough water, etc. getting back to a healthier state of mind and going to be better than this photo that’s from a long time ago. I’m posting this to put in stone that I need to get my health back on track. Be right back, taking notes from @chris_elkins and @stevecook forever.

My mood has been super low because i don't see any progress. I understand it takes time and all and i should cherish my babies. And I do! So much!
But i want to be strong again and i have zero patience.
To be 100% honest, i have had enough of the mummy tummy and I am so very scared that it's here to stay.
