Shandong Blonde is our ode to the Sichuan province and its cuisine. An adaptation on the Bees Knees, our Shandong Blonde is a stunning combination of Osmanthus-infused Vodka, Szuchuan Pepper Gin and Hong Kong Baijiu, with vibrant Lemon Juice, alongside lemongrass and grapefruit aromatics, local honey and Szechuan Flowers for their signature zing.
Fresh and vibrant with influences from Northern Chinese cuisines, if you feel a slight tingling sensation when drinking, fear not, that’s just the buzz buttons (or maybe you’ve simply fallen in love at first sip - we’ll let you decide). The honey used is from a local apiary, Arden Forest Honey, who (in our humble opinion) produce some of the best honey in the UK.
Moonrise Kingdom | Introducing our last few entries for Signature Series 001, inspired by Wes Anderson. First up, the Moonrise is an applewood smoked oat latte with vanilla, pine, salt and a vegan charred marshmallow. We hear it’s a real hit at Camp Ivanhoe.⚡️
The BEAUTIFUL Norden Parfait from @goldcashgolddetroit. @nordenaquavit Aquavit, gin, yogurt, honey, apricot, lemon, and citrus bitters. Delicate, light and airy. I had the chance to try @monielena’s creation yesterday and I was blown away! Yogurt really transforms this cocktail into more of a desert experience rather than a cocktail. It’s super boozy, fruity, and creamy. The perfect cocktail to enjoy after a delicious meal at GCG.
Guys the suns out today and if you stand in just the right spot in the bar the sun is warm and beautiful. Which means it’s a perfect day to come have this beaut of a cocktail. The Circling The Sun is round, nutty, frothy and refreshing. One of those mezcal cocktails that seems to defy the classics of the genre.

The Christmas tree isn’t the only thing getting lit this year 🎄 @DeckTheHallsBar is back again this season, now at 1217 Sutter St! My favorite drink is the Pumpkin Flip because it literally tastes like pumpkin pie 😍😩
🎃 Pumpkin Flip: Maker’s Mark Bourbon, ginger spice molasses, pumpkin purée, stout beer, whole egg
⚪️ White Bitter Ball: Plymouth gin, Luxardo bitter bianco, alessio bianco vermouth
🔴 Red Bitter Ball: smooth ambler bourbon, cranberry martini Bitter, alessio torino rosso
We love this hot chocolate recipe because it is rich, but not overly sweet. We suggest serving it in small coffee cups. #25daysofdorda ⠀
DORDA HOT CHOCOLATE⠀
2 cups whole milk ⠀
100g (one bar of chocolate) 70% cocoa chocolate, finely chopped or grated⠀
1⁄2 cup Dorda Liqueur ⠀
1⁄3 cup cream⠀
pinch of cinnamon ⠀
pinch of salt⠀
Warm 1 cup of milk over medium heat and add the chopped chocolate, stirring constantly until melted. When smooth, whisk in the remaining milk and cream.⠀
Add a pinch of cinnamon and salt and heat until hot but do not allow to boil.⠀
Remove from heat and stir in the Dorda Liqueur. Serve with marshmallows or a dollop of unsweetened, chilled whipped cream.

Basil and Mint are soulmates. Basil🌿is basically another word for Mint🍃in this contemporary classic cocktail. Julep fans will appreciate this delicious concoction, which mixes basil and a tart lime with a top-shelf bourbon. Oh! And A lot of crushed ice is essential to a great Julep.. let me know what you think!
7 fresh basil leaves
1 oz of basil simple syrup
1 oz of @cointreau
1 1/2 oz of @fourrosesbourbon
1 fresh lime wedge
In a julep cup or rocks glass, muddle 6 of the basil leaves plus the staple syrup together. Add your bourbon, cointreau and lime juice. Add more crushed ice and then stir until the glass is frosted. Top with more crushed ice, garnish with the remaining basil leaf, your extra lime wedge or a orange wedge.

Because when real melted chocolate, agave nectar, a splash of rum and rice milk (for that classic horchata flavor) combine, I’m there for it. Remember that Strawberry Frosted Mini Wheat infused rum I talked about in my stories? Well, you voted, and the Flip won! Thank you for all your great suggestions on what cocktail to make with it, it really could have gone a number of ways. This was one tasty libation!

1.5 oz Strawberry Frosted Mini Wheat infused 3 yr rum
.5 oz Bourbon
.25 oz Banana liqueur (because 🍓+ 🍌 are buds)
.25 oz Yellow Chartreuse
.5 oz simple
1 egg white
2 drops saline
If this was served at a bar I imagine it could be served up with a lil bowl of cereal to snack on. And I know, a flip calls for the whole egg but I cheated a bit to maintain the color (and keep the fat content down). Here’s to drinking your breakfast!
Rhubarb gin has year round appeal, and @slingsbysocial from Harrogate has to be one of our Rhubarb favourites!
Using their award winning London Dry as a base, Slingsby have masterfully infused it with the finest hand grown Yorkshire Rhubarb from Oldroyds Farm (located in the famous rhubarb triangle). Local provenance is massively important to Slingsby with each of their gins crafted using locally sourced botanicals and paired with world famous Harrogate aquifer water. If you haven’t tried their London Dry and Navy Strength then we urge you to do so as they are standout creations.
The London Dry base used within their Rhubarb gin offers lot of depth and intrigue whilst providing a solid gin backbone. Ultimately it’s the Rhubarb that steals the show, offering a tart fruity flavour that’s not overpowering and is easy to enjoy. Rhubarb maybe dominant but their are sparks of grapefruit in here as well.
This particular serve was courtesy of @thefloristuk and uses green apple liqueur, Raspberry syrup and ginger ale, garnished with ginger and mint.

Spiked Apple Cider
- 6 cups unsweetened apple cider
- 2 cups dark rum
- 1 apple (sliced)
- 1 ½ tsp whole cloves
- 1 ½ tsp allspice berries
- ⅓ cup maple syrup
- 6 cinnamon sticks
- pinch of nutmeg
- add all (except rum) to a pot
- simmer on low heat for 10-15 minutes
- add rum & remove from heat
- strain & serve immediately
- garnish: cinnamon stick
