Sometimes we like to be silly and name cocktails "Call Your Mom," or "Forgive Me Father, For I Have Absinthe." But sometimes we like to get a little artsy (despite starting sentences with the word "But" against the will of third grade teachers everywhere.) This cocktail is the "Garden of Earthly Delights." It's fruity and then smooth, but ends with a balancing tinge of bitterness. It's inspired by the triptych of the same name by Heironymous Bosch, an incredible three panel painting from the late 15th Century/Early 16th depicting a warning against lust and worldly pleasures. We guess the message was lost on us because we made a delicious cocktail named after it.

Ringing in the week with a fresh start and a cheers to the many people getting married out there (so many weddings!). Perfect time to put this rose liqueur to good use!
Legit flowery aroma coming from this one. Was gifted a Polish rose liqueur that has a high sugar content, plenty of alcohol, and plenty of color pigment to make any drink look dreamy. A little bit goes a long way similar to Chartreuse or other herbally sweet liqueurs, so only used a 1/2oz and added a little rose water to boost the aroma just a bit.
1 1/2 oz Tequila Reposado
1/2 oz Mezcal
1/2 oz Fabryka Wodek Polmos rose liqueur
1/2 oz #lemon juice
1/4 oz #agave syrup
1 barspoon rose water
Combine all ingredients in a shaker. Add ice and shake for ~14 seconds. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and enjoy!

Recently I had the pleasure to meet up with Farid from @falconspirits.
What a great guy who makes some amazing spirits!!
We were able to talk shop while enjoying some cocktails.
I always love hearing the backstory how someone got started in this industry.
Also I love to get educate on their process and learn more about their spirits.
He so kindly gave me a bottle of his Raspberry Liqueur.
The last time they made this was over 3 years ago!
I’m not too fond of overly sweet liqueurs so this was perfect for me.
It’s dry and tart with a hint of sweetness. The raspberry taste is fabulous.
I wanted to try it in a Clover Club.
It was delicious!!
Thank you so much, Farid!!
Your spirits are amazing!
I truly appreciate your kindness and generosity. Looking forward to what you create next!
Upgrade your #rumandcoke (or #cubalibre for those who know) game with our Neon Moon — Kaffir lime & cola syrup + Thai spiced rum topped with soda water. Kaffir limes are native to Southeast Asia, and it’s essential oils are used in perfumery 🧐 This drink a fun, cultural twist on an old classic.
I shot a whole bunch of bartenders tinkering with the new @tinkermansgin profiles. This cocktail right here was created on the spot by @ryanwendellperry. Really neat to see bar professionals do what they do in a matter of minutes.
Por uma semana incrível!! 🍹🍹

I've found myself hitting up the same places all summer long and been itching to try a few new spots that've popped up here in Caphill - specifically next door in Gov's Park. Thanks to my handy, dandy drinking passport - @passportprogram - its any easy pick for a new place (the 2-for-1 deals are hard to pass up). Welcome to the hood @ttw_govspark!
Tequila (duh!) + fresh grapefruit + lime + agave nectar + squirt + salt
Agave-dipped fried chicken, slaw, Mexican chimichurri
PS - when did salting the rim just on the side become a thing? Because, I'm down.
Very (berry) glad this week’s off to a stellar start. Nothing like a mule to hit the spot and make it an A+ week. What’s your spirit of choice? Currently digging mezcal mules #mulemonday 📸: @thewicksheffield 🍓
2 oz Spirit of Choice .5 oz Lime Juice
4 oz Ginger Beer
Handful of Muddled Strawberries and sprig of mint 🍓
Summer time cocktail parties are a blast. Just buy some really cheap and silly party leis, invite some people over, and serve up some drinks. For a summer cocktail I wanted to shake up a mai tais, but those will get folks hammered pretty quick. So I came up with a Sherry, mango brandy, and two rums base to make the mai tai more sessionable. I’ll share recipe details in the next post.

Here’s a great alternative to the ubiquitous Aperol spritz that will please your guests without breaking the bank if you have to serve many people. 🥀Hibiscus rose spritz
4 oz dry white wine
1 oz hibiscus rose syrup*
2 oz sparkling water
Build in a wine glass. *Hibiscus rose syrup:
Simmer a handful of dried hibiscus flower and 1 tbs of rose petals in 2 cups of water for 5 minutes. Turn the heat off and let rest covered for 1 hour. Strain petals, measure how much water you have left and add the same amount of sugar. Bring to a simmer until the sugar is fully dissolved, turn off heat, let cool and store in fridge in a glass bottle.
#NationalLemonadeDay . Happiness is 355ml of #madeinUSA 100% #Spiked cold @filemonade.
Fishers Island, New York, a nine-mile-long island in Long Island Sound with a year-round population of 236, is generally a quiet place. There is one bar, The Pequot Inn, which has been in business for more than 100 years. It happens to serve one of the best #Lemonade drinks of the summer. #FishersIslandLemonade is a more robust, fuller-bodied version of a #VodkaLemonade . The addition of #Whiskey is what gives the drink that extra heft, bringing it to 9% alcohol by volume.
Same players as last week’s mocktail, same song stuck in my head too 🎶🎶

#tbt drinking the Japanese Whisky Old-Fashioned @intercontinentaldtla’s Spire 73(and shivering my butt off). Can’t wait for cooler weather again. This drink was made with Hibiki Harmony, kumquat, and demarara syrup.
Guess what? I love daiquiris. My recent favorite incorporates a tropical green tea (from @theenglishroseteashoppe) syrup and two different types of rum. I’m feeling the need to throw on a Hawaiian shirt now. #Mondaymotivation#rum#tiki#cocktailsarecoming
