I was going to wait until March to post this (because March is kidney disease awareness month), but yesterday being my father's birthday reminded me that you shouldn't put off telling people how you feel. For all I know, I could get run over tomorrow. So, here goes. This beautiful woman is my sister. She is the smartest, strongest, funniest, most amazing person I know. She's an artist who can make anything beautiful. She's seriously talented. She always makes me laugh. I look for her posts everyday, because they always make me smile, no matter how down I am. She taught me to do my hair and makeup (which if you seen me as a teen, you'd know is a miracle lol). She tried to teach me to drive, but as anyone who's driven with me can attest, that's an impossible task (really, I don't know how I got my license 😂). She believed in me when didn't believe in myself. The whole reason I even went to college was because of her. I wasn't even going to try, but she got me a ton of college brochures and applications, and talked me into it. I ended up getting accepted into every college I applied to, and even got a scholarship to one, and it's all because of her. Because she said I could do it. She's always been there for me, even though I was a bratty child who ate her toys. I'm still a brat, and she's still there for me, but at least my diet no longer consists of Smurf figurines and Barbie noses 😂. She's an amazing aunt who is always doing so much for her nieces and nephew. She's a fighter. She's faced death more times than I can count, and she's still here, fighting. Every day. Sometimes in the midst of depression I'll feel sorry for myself and then I'll think of her, who has been on dialysis for years and struggled with type 1 diabetes for longer than I've been alive, and how she's still strong, still fighting, and it gives me strength. I so happy to be back home this year, so I can spend the holidays with her. This is my sister, my super woman, and she means the world to me. ❤ (ps I stole this picture from my mom. Thanks mom! Lol)

Happy Beautiful Birthday to my dearest Sister @emheeres !
I am so thankful for all that you are & all that you are to our family! You are an incredible gift & I love you so so much!
Today I want to post about someone very dear to me, my lovely sister Rosie.
I may be biased but I think she is incredibly talented and she painted this beautiful Blue Tit for me to remind me of my grandparents as they all loved their gardens and the birds that visited them. .
She also does amazingly cute illustration for children and uses her passion for nature, and for sustainability, throughout the work she’s currently doing for her dissertation. .
If you want to check out more of Rosie’s work give her a follow on @rea_designs, she does commissions so if you’re in the market for a pet portrait of a painting of your favourite animal, she’s your gal! .
Love you millions Odie!
