Plant Nerds: If you’re familiar with #PileaPeperomioides , you probably also know their ‘coined’ nickname as the “Chinese Money Plant.” These little cuties originated from China & didn’t pop up in the Western Hemisphere until about 1946. It’s debut in 1946 took place after a Norwegian Missionary by the name of Agnar Espegren brought plant cuttings from China to Norway. Thereafter Mr. Espegren noted it’s easy propagation abilities, he begun sharing cuttings & off shoots of the plant with family and friends! Now Pilea Peperomioides is often referred to as “Pass-It-On” plant, a symbol of friendship in the #plantcommunity . 🤓🌿✨

I finished painting the cabinet for baba toys! Just waiting on the storage baskets to arrive then I can get it filled and show it off in all it’s organised glory 🙌🏼 I love how it’s looking but it’s slanting heavily because of our shit lob sided house, so that’ll be a job for grandad to sort 😬 (anyone else immediately go to their dads for problems to be solved? Mines a DIY guru and I think he secretly loves getting a message asking him to help)!
I love plants 💚 I know that’s probably obvious looking at my Instagram but I really do 😍 and that’s why I’m here! I’ve learnt so much about my plants, and caring for them, I want to share my knowledge with whoever needs it. I started Our Green Sanctuary to help simplify caring for houseplants. Do you have something you need help with? I would love to help. Check out the blog (link in bio) or simply ask me below 👇🌿🍀🍃🌴❓
